Very comfortable room with lovely view.

Our stay was for only one night and overall was a very pleasant stay. We opted for the Cereal breakfast which in our mind equated to a continental style breakfast. Unfortunately there were no croissants or ham and cheese, just a bit of toast and some jam / honey plus cereal mainly from packets. Very disappointing especially since I had noticed the bakery van arrive earlier that morning. Overall a lovely hotel has let itself down with an uninspiring attempt at breakfast.

I was arriving at the hotel around 8.15pm, before I got there I got a phone call to tell me the restaurant would not be open but they could offer me a sandwich. This was not acceptable so I had to go out after i arrived to find something to eat.

Lovely place!

What a lovely hotel. The surroundings are beautiful, the owners are extremely welcoming, and the room was great. I would definitely stay here again. I've stayed at a number of similar hotels, and this one is right up there with the best of them. It's an easy drive to the motorway as well. I ended up ordering room service -- just a burger and chips -- but the burger was so flavorful, and the chips were hot, crisp and delicious! I would recommend this one!

No impressed and treated with contempt by hotel manager/owner ?.

No impressed and treated with contempt by hotel manager/owner ?. I had booked the Hotel in January there had been a mistake on the room rate after I had paid which the hotel had tyred to get out off. So in the end they booked us into a much cheaper hotel on the main A route thought town.
