"I loved this property. Everything was clean, there were plenty of towels, coffee, creamer, amenities, and I loved the vibe. My friend was afraid of bears so we didn't spend as much time outside as it is secluded and a dark drive uphill at night, but very close to town. Just have to be careful. The kitchen was charming with all of the lovely mugs and I enjoyed myself and slept well. This is a great stay for more people (there were only two of us), so game nights, a nice big table, etc.. would have been fun. If you're looking for seclusion but still close to town, this is a great place. Owners were lovely and answered all questions. I would recommend this place."

"PROS: The hotel is very peaceful as it is located in the middle of the mountain. The rooms are clean, nice and comfortable. Employees are nice as well. CONS: the hotel only has two floors. We stayed on the first floor and we could hear the footsteps of the people staying above us because the walls and floors are extremely thin. Also, there is no elevator so take this into consideration if you can’t lift your luggage up and down the stairs."

"We were very pleased with our rental. This was our first time traveling as a family of four and this rental worked out great for us. Because we took our dog on the trip with us, we were looking for pet friendly properties. I loved that this one welcomed dogs and didn't have a restriction on size. Location was great being halfway between Highlands and Cashiers. Would love to come back in the future!"
