Cons: more parking....very limited spaces
Breakfast was small but good. Hallways had a strong odor of smoke, but our room thankfully didn't. Hotel staff was nice and accommodating.

Cons: It would have been nice to have an elevator.
It served the purpose for which it was used. Mainly just a place to rest while in town visiting family.

Best in town...not saying much.

Posted Sep 5, 2014
Pros: friendly staff
Cons: breakfast, cleanliness, blankets
Location: It is in town, near fast food, pizza delivery available, and Walmart.
The Days Inn of Hillsboro is indeed the best hotel in Hillsboro, Ohio. Your other two choices are motels with no pools, breakfast, or workout rooms. That being said, although the staff were quite friendly and helpful, the breakfast was disappointing to say the least. There was a waffle iron, but no real butter and people were frying premade egg patties that had fake orange cheeze goo in the middle in there instead of waffle batter. There was black moldy stuff in the orange juice machine's dispensing hose. The pastries were pre-wrapped crappy ones you can buy in the vending machine as well. Very sad spread. The bed was comfortable enough and no evidence of bedbugs, but the only blanket was a rough old prison number. There were many tumbleweeds of other peoples hairs rolling about in the bathroom and the jacuzzi jets in our tub had visible black mold in them. No immersing in that tub for me! I would drive the extra 20 mins and find a decent place to stay unless you are strangely seeking deprivation and grunge.

Great quality for the price

Was worried about the quality of the hotel after booking, but upon arrival everything looked good. Rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly. We left a blanket and a maid chased us outside to get it to us. Very cool!!

Good value for the area. Restaurants are very limited in this town.
