BEWARE: Infested with bed bugs!!!

Posted Oct 24, 2016
Pros: there was nothing positive about my experience at this hotel. The staff were the best part but they weren't that great.
Cons: I got to the hotel and looked around. The room (non-smoking) smelled like an ash tray and my curtains had rips in them so people could see in (I was on the ground floor). There was mold in the shower and the internet didn't work (though they were fixing it). Over the course of my night I was woken up multiple times from the sound of people turning on their trucks and talking outside the room. A few hours after I woke up, huge welts grew around my forehead and wrists with more popping up constantly, I have over 70 bites from one night at the Wilmington Inn and will never go back!!

A solid "Meh"

Posted Oct 10, 2016
Pros: The room was surface clean, warm and basically comfortable.
Cons: Limited supplies for breakfast, few power outlets, stained mattress pad, fitted sheet was damaged.
Location: It is about a 15 minute drive from the Renn Faire.
This hotel is about a "meh" as I have experienced. The room I was in was surface clean and basic. It had a working mini fridge and a microwave, which was unexpected. It came with two sinks, one in the room proper and one in the bathroom. There was a lack of outlets near the bed side tables. If you are the kind that likes to charge your phone next to the bed, or even have an outlet near the provided desk, bring your own extension cord. Breakfast, while in theory is provided between 6am and 10am, is only for people who arrive before 8:30am. For the two breakfasts that I was there, most of the breakfast supplies had already run out by 8:30. I could see a stain on the mattress pad through the thin and holey fitted sheet. There was a small spider who guarded the inside of the bathtub, though there were no insect carcasses underneath, so it might have not been there for long. The area around the hotel appeared safe and clean. The person at the check in desk in the evening was very polite and helpful. There was no one at the check in desk in the morning that I checked out.

Stinky dingy room

Posted Jul 16, 2016
No wifi signal, door would hardly shut and lock to secure my things, lots of other people there hanging out on the sidewalks cooking out and leaving their junk in front of the rooms. Will not be coming back.

if you don't mind the bare basics with no shampoo or dryer in the room. This inn needs a makeover. The price was right in Canadian dollars

They don't actually have functional wi-fi and the water has to be practically off in the shower or else it's scolding hot.

It's a Small Town in Ohio

Posted Jul 16, 2015
Pros: The best location for what we were trying to do (central to the places we needed to get to).
Cons: It would take a total "rehab" but mau not actually be worth all that. Certainly the linnes/towels/bed covers etc could be replaced/upgraded.
Location: There are plenty of restaurants and stores nearby.
This was a nice little hotel at some point. It is a little aged now, a bit "used". It was clean and the people are nice. I would stay here again for the price and location.

Pros: It is so close to Wilmington's Campus that we could have walked there!

We just needed a place to sleep we arrived at 11:00 p.m. the night before for a 9:30 am meeting. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed.
