Located in a very convenient area. As clean as it could be. Front desk was extremely nice and attentive. Rooms need to be completely renovated.

I was assigned to a room on the third floor, but the elevator was broken, so I had to walk up. When I got there, my key opened the door to the room, but there was somebody else's open suitcase on the bed. The room I wound up with on the second floor was fairly clean and comfortable.

Very convenient from the highway I-40. I had two rooms, and both had problems with the sink stoppers. They were broken. The room drapes were broken and didn't fall well. The carpet looked dirty. The beds were hard and you had to move around to find the right spot to sleep. Some updates are warranted to make the customer fell like they are staying in a moderate priced hotel. Overall, the stay was good.

At check in, front desk attendant was so interested in what she was watching on her phone that I had to address her four times before she acknowledged me. The next morning at checkout, the same attendant was there and it took me three times addressing her to wake her up from a sound sleep to get my deposit refund. I think Microtel would do well to have surprise visits to see just how poorly their hotels are being managed.
