Great hotel on the beach and walk to best courses

Had a wonderful experience with the staff and hotel. All of our wants and needs were taken care of. Only ate at the outside grill which was good. Shout out to Brandon G who took care of anything we needed at the pool.

Nice hotel

Pros: All accommodating, good food, restaurants, beach steps away, good parking.
Cons: nothing
Location: good retaurants
Spent 3 nights, overall great experience. Beach steps away.

Spent 2 nights during Heritage golf Tourn weekend. What we didn't expect was the added crowds ( families) vacationing over Easter holiday on the same weekend. We have never seen the beach as crowded on Hilton Head; it looked like Miami beach. If the Tourn falls on the same weekend next year, we will pass, or stay somewhere else. After a long day at the tourn, we retired @ 10:00ish, and were awoken with loud talking on our floor, kids running down the hall and slamming doors @ 11:00 to 11:30pm... At Checkin we paid cash, and were told we had to pay an extra $30.00 deposit for incidentals which we would be refunded at checkout. At Checkout we were told no - after deducting parking fees, resort fees, etc. tacked on- sorry. It left us with a last bad impression...

Ocean view is really partial view

Cons: Better description of rooms.
Booked a room that was Ocean view with a balcony and got a first floor balcony with a view of the trees that completely blocked the Ocean. When I talked to the staff that unless you booked Ocean Front there was no guarantee that you would see the Ocean. I found this very misleading and not worth the price for the Ocean view rooms. I asked to switch to a different room but they were over booked and not an option.

Not great.

The Hilton head Marriott was over priced for the condition of the facilities and the service. The beds were comfy although we were put in a queen room even though I requested king at time of booking. Poor check in service! We were not given breakfast cards even though we had paid for breakfast in the rates. This meant that every morning at breakfast there was hastle and delay as they had to confirm that we had paid breakfast every morning! I mentioned this at check out that -even though we had highlighted this on the first morning of breakfast nothing was done to resolve it do faced the same issue following mornings. When mentioned on check out I got nothing more than an oops well you haven't been charged breakfast. They did not try to compensate or apologise for the delays and inconvenience caused at all by the poor service and management. The indoor pool and bathrooms in the rooms could do with a refurb. Looking old and tired. You also have to pay for sun loungers on the beach even though this is a beach resort
