The beds in hotel are very uncomfortable. We also were disappointed that the room service was not consistent. And, thirdly our duvet insert had brown and feather cotton clumps that were ridiculous gross!

This hotel has completely FALSE ADVERTISMENT, I will never book at this hotel again!! First off, they charged my card and denied doing it, second off, the 1st day we got their,the ceiling was leaking in the room,they moved me to another room,which they lied about the Ocean view,it was partial ocean .. Lets just put it this way, once my card was charged,and it shouldn't have because my room was already paid for and they had already taken the Holding Fee, and the Front desk lied and act like they didn't know where the charge came from, that right there helped made my mind up , NOT TO BOOK THERE ANYMORE!! Also the TV did not work and the actual door to the room kept having malfunctions!! Basically my whole stay there I had to keep calling Front desk to fix something, and a vacation stay, I shouldn't have had to do that.

The property decor was modern but unfortunately the cleaning and care rendered that unimportant. Rooms and areas were dirty and not well kept. The staff was also extremely inattentive. We called Guest service 4 times: broken glass in bathroom upon check-in, faulty lock on the main door, question about spa hours and inquiring on a package. THEY DIDN’T ANSWER THE PHONE ONCE. Stay somewhere else.

The best thing about this property was their beds other than that the service was horrible... If you could get a drink you were lucky they are either watering down their alcohol or minimally pouring one server served my 16 year old daughter an alcoholic beverage she didn't even catch a buzz and she's not a drinker we realized after the fact that she didn't get a virgin pina colada the bathroom was continually out of toilet paper tissue and hand towels the view is decent however the shade takes over majority of the pool area... 3/4 of the surrounding pool area is given to anyone who wants to buy a seat/ cabana so it's like being on an airplane again the pool was freezing and not heated couldn't even comfortably get in it.... seriously disappointing first time in the Hilton Head South Carolina area definitely wouldn't recommend or go back so many more beautiful accommodating places really hesitated to write this review because I always prefer compliments and positive vibes but this just needed to be put out there they need to improve so here's to that

I feel they treated us badly. I booked the trip with Expedia on my Discover card. When I got to the Hilton I hadn’t brought my Discover card to put on hold so I gave them my Citicard. They charged me over $1,879 saying they never received payment from Expedia. After 3 days of refusing to refund my money they only gave me a partial refund. We also had a problem with housekeeping. They didn’t clean the room a few times, they didn’t even give us clean towels. Also when I told them the top bed covers were terribly stained they said it was because when they get washed the stuffing clumps. David Wilkins, the property manager promised us a $350 credit due to this which we never received, I realize they took over the resort from Marriott a few weeks early but they used this as an excuse for every thing.

One of the reasons we chose this hotel, was to take advantage of the indoor pool and hot tub. They were not available until the last day before we left, and the pool was too cold to use.

The only problem we had was the 4 pillows on the bed were horrible! They should have been thrown out years ago. So flat! Also, I would like a light blanket. A sheet & duvet cover is not enough for me.

My room was very clean and comfortable with an incredible ocean front view. The pools and beach area are very nice with both indoor and outdoor pools, hot tub, restaurants and pool bar. However, this hotel has a very corporate look and not a very “welcome to the beach” look or feel. Additionally, I was taken back by the lack of Marriott level customer service you’d expect. At check in on Saturday the valet couldn’t have been bothered to greet me at all. As I finished unloading my luggage myself, the attendant then asked me to move the car. I then handed him the key and asked for my valet ticket. Surprised my room wasn’t ready at 3pm and had no problem waiting until 4 to receive a text message when the room would be ready. I never did get the text message from Jee at the front desk and picked up my room key at 6pm when I was done being eaten alive by the mosquitos at the pool area. I was taken back when Max at the bar said that if I wanted a chair on the beach, I could take one myself from the pool area and walk it to the beach since the “season is over we Don’t put chairs out now.” On a positive, the restaurant staff was very friendly and welcoming as you’d expect from Marriott. Food was good.
