We were extremely disappointed!!! The first night we were subjected to a false fire alarm due to construction. Our room had no heat and after it was serviced at 10 pm, it went out again at 1 am. We had to move to another room the next day. The second room had bugs, probably due to the construction. The shower water pressure was less than fair, not to mention that the water was turned off our second day in the hotel for half of the day with no notice. The rug was stained and the furniture was old. We will never return there again. And will not recommend anyone to it. The only nice thing was they waived the pet service fee of 15 dollars, but only after I told them I would not pay it after all the problems we had with the conditions. We were told that they would not refund anything else and we would have to contact Hotels.com about this for any refund. So I am doing just that!

Wait until the renovations have been completed

The staff was friendly and helpful for the most part. We had to change rooms because the shower didn't have hot water. The bathroom door on the new room got stuck but a room change wasn't offered. The internet did not work at all in our rooms. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean.

construction and disorganization

Both Expedia and the hotel charged me 25$ deposits. As result I got overdrawn. The hotel staff that I confronted the night I got there told me she would call back indicating a correction. The call never came. The woman I spoke to in the morning wouldn't accept any responsibility and blamed Expedia. The construction, I could have overlooked had it not been for the 50$ deposit hold and 42$ overdraft on a 53$ hotel. Had I known I would have dropped 90$ I would have picked a hotel without construction and was in a little better condition

Hotel under renovations keep that in mind

Hotel is going under renovations so keep that in mind when you stay they work from around 9-5 every day. It's a good hotel to stay at for the price and you don't mind the dust. No vending machines available when we stayed they took them all out only one soda machine at front office. Nice area can walk to the beach and stores.
