The property was great! You have to get your own towels from the front desk they do not have any one to bring it to you! They do allow pets on the property for a fee! Overall I give it a 7.5 out of 10
The hotel advertised free parking, free wifi, and complementary breakfast; however, I was charged an additional 20 something dollars upon checkout since I booked through Expedia. Desk clerk said it was “hotel fees’ for parking, wifi, breakfast. Didn’t appreciate that, but stay other than that was great.
Great breakfast, staff very friendly and accommodating, clean, nice kitchen. Didn't like bedroom upstairs in loft with very small bathroom and larger bathroom downstairs in living area.
Our room was pretty nice. It was clean. There was no daily housekeeping service, which we did not like.
We did not need the 'concierge' service that was provided. We received a phone call in our room after we checked in. The sales person was pushy, and it took my husband a while to get off the phone with her. Then we received a text the morning we left inviting us to come get a 200 dollar Visa gift card. Totally a timeshare. We did not expect this, and did not appreciate it.
The property, hotel and area were great to walk to local restaurants and very close to the beach (like 1 mile away). The staff appeared to be disengaged, didnt really care about the guests, and genuinely it felt like no one cared. Questions were answered with one word answers and everyone just seemed unhappy. Staff disappears from midnight to 7 am and all doors are locked. Like I could not even get into my building where I stayed.
Would highly recommend, close to shopping and variety of restaurants. Very clean property with great breakfast. Older hotel but well maintained with upgrades
Would definitely return.
Overall not a bad stay but a couple sore spots to point out. We booked a king suite on Expedia that stated it was dog friendly. When arriving we learned that there is a $90-$130 pet fee and no king suites for pets were available. We got a 2 queen suite instead. We also had 2 encounters with rude service members but everyone else was nice. The parking is confusing and needs more signs. The facility itself is very clean, good location, and quiet. It’s very strict in the sense of signing in and out towels, no room cleaning if your pet is in the room (even a kennel) and things didn’t seem transparent.
The property was nice and clean. It was a little noisy when people walked down the halls talking as the walls are thin, but over all we enjoyed our stay for the night.
