We loved our stay here. The hotel was luxurious and immaculate. Staff was super helpful and the room was enormous. Perfectly walkable to many of the major sites and only 10 minutes away from the train station. We intend to return to Hiroshima and definitely plan to stay here again.

Our rooms had a lovely view towards Hiroshima Castle. The bathrooms could use a reno; tile is dated and looks worn. The hotel is within walking distance of the Atomic Bomb dome, the Peace museum, Hiroshima Castle, and the museum of Art. The ferry terminal to Miyajima Island is also close by.

Great location. Hiroshima castle and Atomic bomb dome and museum are a 5 minute walk from hotel. Lobby of hotel looks impressive but rooms and bathroom very dated. We were on the 22nd floor and had a wonderful view facing the castle.

Staff including front desk didn't speak English, although they tried to be helpful. The interior was very dated but everything was clean and worked. It definitely wasn't a 4-star hotel and service.

I would highly recommend the Rihga Royal Hotel in Hiroshima. I stayed there from March 16-18 on a recent visit to Japan. The hotel and all its facilities look just like its photos. My room was quite large with a fabulous view of the city of Hiroshima and the A- Dome. It is within walking distance of the A-Dome, Peace Park, and Hiroshima Museum. There is a ferry to Miyajima Island within walking distance of this hotel which is very convenient if you plan on a day there. Note that this ferry is not the one that honors the JR pass. There are convenience stores and plenty of other shopping close by. The breakfast includes both Western and Japanese food and is highly recommended. I would definitely stay in this hotel again should I be visiting the area.

This hotel is located very close to the museum and castle. It is very comfortable and has a nice bar and restaraunt with a grand view. We were each given a complimatary drink ticket for the bar. It was wonderful to sip a drink and look out at the magnificent view after running around all day. There are two breakfast dining rooms that were comfortable and served a large variety of foods. I would definetly stay here again.

Hotel is affordable and is located centrally. Beautiful views of the city. The hotel staff are very knowledgeable and helpful and the hotel provides lots of great information on how to get around the city and how to get to Miyajima. The hotel rooms are dated and a bit tired but clean.

Amazing View from the room over Hiroshima Castel. Sadly there was a firealarm on the second night at 3am. We got no explanation or updates in english. At some point people were just going into the rooms again? Also on the next day we got no explanation or apology from the staff, very poor communication.

This was a beautiful hotel with a beautiful view. Within walking distance to all the major sites. Restaurants on property were pricy for us but didn't take away from our overall enjoyment.

Shower water angle not good. I am average height and the water went over my head. I forgot my keys and the staff were very helpful to find it and send it to me. Room was large (34m2) with great view of Hiroshima.

Lovely stay at the Rihga hotel in Hiroshima. Location is fantastic, close to the A-bomb memorial, train stations and a large selection of restaurants. We were given a corner room on the 28th floor with amazing views of the palace. Hotel is dated but clean and has everything you need. Staff were very helpful and kind. We couldn’t checkin until 3pm but the hotel stored our bags for us. Would recommend staying here.

An excellent hotel. I returned to this hotel after seven years and a half and found it as pleasant and comfortable as before. No other hotel in Hiroshima can its location. It is the centerpiece of the largest commercial complex just across from the Hiroshima Prefectural Government Office and within walking distances from the Hiroshima castle and Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park.

We had a corner room and it had a excellent view. The room was very spacious and the bathroom was a normal US size. The ammenities consisted of shampoo's. conditioners, toothbrush, lotion, water, frig. I was very pleased with the accommodations. The view was spectacular. (Stadium, Hiroshima Castle, Museum....) I would recommend this hotel of you are staying in Hiroshima.

Best hotel!
This was an amazing hotel experience! The view from our window over the city was incredible. The staff was super helpful, the amenities were plentiful, the room was spacious, and the location was perfect…just a few minutes walk from the bus stop and mall with many dining options, and about a 10- minute walk to the Atomic Bomb museum/memorials. We would stay here again!

Really enjoyed our stay here :) staff let us check in a bit early after a long day of travel, view was great from our room (we were given a corner room on the 15th floor which was amazing!) The hotel has a very early 2000s vibe in terms of decor and furnishings (think Home Alone) so was very nostalgic to be there :)

We had an incredible stay at Rihga Royal Hotel Hiroshima. The hotel and staff exceeded expectations with their exceptional service. However, I recommend opting for the 1st-floor breakfast buffet, as the 6th-floor one is notably smaller. During my visit, the food was unfortunately cold due to open Bain Maries, and the toaster on the 6th floor didn't function properly. Despite this, the overall experience was memorable. I also want to highlight the remarkable view from our 25th-floor room, overlooking the Atomic Dome and Peace Park. It was genuinely amazing and added a unique and reflective dimension to our stay at the Rihga Royal Hotel Hiroshima. Despite the minor issues with the breakfast buffet, the overall experience, especially the captivating view, left a lasting impression.

A day trip to Hiroshima turned into a week stay because my friend was hospitalized. Many thanks to the staff for making things easier as I wasn't familiar with hotel procedures and I didn't speak Japanese. The staff is hardworking and eager to help. The hotel breakfast buffet helped start the day on a good foot. By the way, the hotel is close to the Hiroshima Memorial Park and to the Sogo Department Store.
