Exceptional room

Posted Mar 20, 2017
Pros: Spacious room and very comfortable king bed.
Cons: Not a lot
Location: As per above
Beautiful room. Lovely staff. We were able to access all the places we wanted to visit by the local tourist bus (covered by the JR Pass).

Posh hotel with large rooms

Posted Mar 19, 2017
Pros: Convenience, comfort
Location: The Peace Memorial Park is not to be missed. Don't visit the museum on the weekend; it is more impactful when there are fewer visitors.
This hotel is right beside the train station, connected to it by a covered walkway on the 2nd floor. If you are a Japan Rail pass traveler, it is SO VERY convenient. Additionally, the bus that takes tourists to the important sites in Hiroshima leaves from in front of the train station just a short way from the front door of the hotel. The rooms are large and very comfortable. We stayed at this hotel twice- both times the rooms were very quiet. Awesome breakfast buffet (both Japanese and continental cuisine). Signs identifying the foods indicate whether they contain dairy, gluten, or nuts for those with food allergies.

Nice classy hotel close to JR Station

Posted Jan 23, 2017
A lovely hotel with exceptionally good service. The room is spacious, well furnished and tidy. Excellently located next to the Hiroshima Station. Lots of restaurant and shopping malls nearby. Fortunate to have taken a very delicious and value for money buffet in the hotel restaurant. Marvellous stay!!

Classic Sheraton... good without being great

Posted Jan 16, 2017 on Hotels
My experience here with my wife and 2 travelling partners was good wothout being great. which is what ive come to expect from sheraron hotels. The pay per use hotel pool and spa was around $25 aus. Just to use the steam and sauna without the pool was $15 aus. The area is either a tram, train or bike ride to any resturants or bars, but very close to the main JR station which was very handy. Overall okay, but not great.

Great location, modern hotel

Posted Jan 14, 2017
This is one of the nicest hotels I've stayed at. The room was huge - not only compared to Japanese rooms, but elsewhere. The decor was nice, staff friendly and attentive, and it's location right next to Hiroshima station made it easy when catching the Shinkansen - an undercover walkway connects th station with the hotel. Highly recommended.

Great hotel right near hiroshima station

Posted Jan 12, 2017
Being near the station is great when you are travelling on shinkansen with lots of luggage. All english speaking staff and very polite and friendly. A great spa too although they do charge you to use the pool and jaccuzzi.
