Friendly staff, clean rooms and very convenient location
We arrived earlier than checkin, but staff got right to it....within minutes our suite was prepared. Very knowledgable staff, helpful, polite, and oozing with southern hospitality. Location couldn't be better; a literal stones throw from the market. The condo was nicely appointed with a lovely courtyard ...
Got the luxury suite, king bed with balcony. Yes it was more expensive than other options, but we really really liked the room. Very comfortable bed. Nice sized bathroom. Great location (1 block from the city market). Cute sitting area with a fireplace (didn't turn it on though as it was warm enough ...
You're located right in the Charleston Market so great location convenient to everything. Rooms were large, very comfortable and updated nicely. Would definitely stay here again.
Wonderful weekend in Charleston! Great Hotel! Would highly recommend it for comfort and convenience! Easy to get around town and the valets were awesome! We will be back next time we are in Charleston for another exciting trip! The breakfast was very good and the the staff was very helpful. St. Patrick’s ...
We celebrated my aunt’s 80th with a pajama party. The room was perfect, along with the vicinity of hotel. Close to restaurants and other venues for young/older adults.
Lovely old lobby and spacious rooms. I would love to find a hotel that still had towel racks because you can't hang them up to dry. Furniture in rooms could use some updating.
Great hotel, great staff....I mean GREAT staff! Only drawbacks...and they are very teeny....are the bathrooms are very small and their is no "Guide" on the tv. Like I said...very teeny drawbacks. Honestly, have never stayed anywhere that the staff (every single one of them!) was so nice and thoughtful. ...
I have read that this is one of the top romantic hotels in the country. I must agree because the decor, staff, amenities and rooms were the best by far that I have seen. The Wentworth mansion outclasses all other 10+ million dollar homes in the area by a wide margin.
Nice hotel, however, we booked on Expedia and were not guaranteed our specified king room. The hotel gave us 2 queens. Beware that if you book on Expedia that the type of room you request is not guaranteed.
Slow check in due to issues with computers. Clean, comfortable, and spacious room.Comfortable bed. Hallway to the pool was closed off with plastic.Easy parking. Frequent shuttles to dowtown. Did not try breakfast but appear to be standard fare. I would stay here again.
Front desk staff were very helpful. Jack in the restaurant in the morning in a true gem. Would stay here every time I go to Charleston for work.
Everything was wonderful ! Extremely convenient and fast check in/check out ! Room was very clean and comfortable
Lovely, walking distance to everything we needed—great restaurants, market, battery. Lovely that they left champagne in our room for my birthday, sherry and cookies, Art with artist in residence. Would definitely return.
The service was excellent, we enjoyed the amenities and turn down service that added that personal touch to our stay. Very friendly, professional staff and helped us out from calling us a cab to making sure we didnt miss our tour van. Great bar and bartenders. Location was walking distance to so ...
Total experience was fantastic. Can’t say enough about all the wonderful staff and all the little extras of the hotel. Complimentary bikes were a definite plus and the location can’t be beat.
