"Wonderful hotel "
Check in was easy, bell man on site to help with bags, parking included. Room was as comfortable amply spaced and as advertised. Staff was friendly and personable. AAA 4 diamond restaurant on site for breakfast mmm! (included) and dinner also mmm! (on your own). We met some charming folks at wine & hors d'oeuvres hosted by staff each day at 5:00pm. The hotel was located in historic district not too far from shopping. We walked everywhere we went during our stay. (bring some comfortable shoes) Overall a very enjoyable experience and we will return at a future date

"Luxury hotel in the center of historic district"
For our second visit to Charleston, we knew we wanted to stay in the heart of the historic district with its easy access to the waterfront, restaurants, shops, and historic sites. The Planters Inn offered the perfect combination of access and retreat. Service was superb from arrival to departure. Doormen, front desk staff, and room attendants were friendly, helpful, and professional.

"Comfortable and quaint in a great location "
We loved our stay here and totally recommend it! The staff are helpful and friendly, the beds are very comfortable and the food is outstanding. The buildings are extremely old and tastefully updated. We left the car in the parking lot and walked all over downtown. Looking for an excuse to return!

"Nice Location"
We enjoyed being across the street from the Bay and fountains. We had a nice view of the bay and enjoyed morning and evening walks along the beautiful park, all just across the street. Breakfast provided was okay. Roof Top music & drinks not good & it was hot!. Cookies provided each evening were good. Excellent location to all downtown attractions! The staff was VERY friendly and accommodating. Overall I would recommend and not hesitate staying here again.
