Happy Birthday!

Cons: Nothing
Location: The locatioin allowed us to walk to all our tourist spots.
I took my daughter, Jenna and my daughter in law to Charleston for Jenna's 40th birthday. I wanted to celebrate with the best of Charleston, so we stayed at the Belmond and we were not disappointed. Everything about the hotel was perfect. I can't say enough good things about the staff, the restaurants, the shops and the location. We will be back!

1st Class. From Check in to check out. We stayed on the Club Level for one night. The room was very clean an comfortable. The lounge area on the floor was excellent and relaxing. The hotel is equipped with great bars and restaurants and has some of the best shopping anywhere. Location was right where you want to be. We will be back to spend more time.

Excellent Charleston hotel!

Beautiful hotel with real southern charm! Stayed 2 nights on Club Level. Top notch service from welcoming staff! (Thanks Haley for your excellent customer service at front desk upon arrival) First class accommodations came with first class service! Thanks everyone there for making our stay so very special! I would highly recommend your hotel to all our friends! This hotel is all about making their guests happy! Club Level staff were so kind and accommodating! Always a smile and ready to please! Thank you! Will be back to enjoy!!!

We loved our experience at the Belmond! Great staff and an unbeatable location made for a fantastic stay. Our only annoyance was due to the location of our room. We were next to the elevator lobby on the same floor as the spa/pool/workout area and occasionally had issues with sound (especially at 2AM bar close).

Great Hotel!

Hotel was beautiful; restful and quaint rooms. All personnel were very helpful. Restaurants were very good. Close to many activities and shops. Definitely recommend!

Charleston's Best

My family absolutely loved the stay at the Belmond Charleston Place. Stay Club level if you can, its well worth it! Be warned tho, Expedia lists a king bed with a sofa bed in a room, Belmond has no king and sofa bed at Club level.

Disappointing

Pros: Nice rooms and pool rooftop
The room was very nice, clean and very comfortable however I must admit I was left very disappointed by my stay here. I really did expect more from this class and brand of hotel. Sometimes it's the little things but there was no alcohol options available in the mini bar and no coffee making facilities in the room. I felt this was a hugely overpriced option to explore Charleston from.

To remain in compliance with State Laws that regulate times of alcoholic beverage service, we do not stock liquor in the mini bars. We also do not currently have coffee makers in all room types, but we do have a Coffee Bar in the Lobby.
