Great Hotel!

Hotel was beautiful; restful and quaint rooms. All personnel were very helpful. Restaurants were very good. Close to many activities and shops. Definitely recommend!

Charleston's Best

My family absolutely loved the stay at the Belmond Charleston Place. Stay Club level if you can, its well worth it! Be warned tho, Expedia lists a king bed with a sofa bed in a room, Belmond has no king and sofa bed at Club level.

Disappointing

Pros: Nice rooms and pool rooftop
The room was very nice, clean and very comfortable however I must admit I was left very disappointed by my stay here. I really did expect more from this class and brand of hotel. Sometimes it's the little things but there was no alcohol options available in the mini bar and no coffee making facilities in the room. I felt this was a hugely overpriced option to explore Charleston from.

To remain in compliance with State Laws that regulate times of alcoholic beverage service, we do not stock liquor in the mini bars. We also do not currently have coffee makers in all room types, but we do have a Coffee Bar in the Lobby. Beautiful hotel, great location!

Within walking distance of great restaurants shops and nightlife. Only problem, was our drain in tub didn't work right. But beautiful marble bathroom.

Great Hotel

This is the place to stay in Charleston. Truly a 5 star hotel with everything you would expect from a great establishment. The staff, rooms, pool and lobby area were fantastic. And the location is in the heart of Charleston, near everything. Its been a long time since I was able to say - My time there was perfect.

The staff was excellent it was unbelievable located for everything just a wonderful experience I would higher recommend the Belmond to everyone staying in charleston

Very nice hotel in center of town

This is an excellent hotel located right in the center of town and close to all attractions and the historic monuments. The staff were great and the room on the 8th floor Club level was very nice and completely updated. The free breakfast at the Club level was also great. I highly recommend this hotel.

Lovely city, lovely hotel!

Pros: Service, location, and ambiance.
Cons: It is a little pricey
Location: Everything is within steps
Great stay. Asked for early check and got it no problem! Perfect location near most attractions and just steps from the market. Charleston Grill in the hotel is a fantastic restaurant with impeccable service!
