Historic location but a bit run down. Needs updating. Accommodating staff. Great location!

Lovely Charleston Stay

Great choice, a little away from the center of town but still close enough to enjoy. Great breakfast.

Great location but cramped room

Posted Jul 11, 2017 on Hotels
Rooms are a bit small, and bed mattresses and pillows far too soft, perhaps old. Staff was great, very responsive and friendly. Breakfast was always the same; need some variety! Great happy hour! Excellent location, handy to many tourist attractions.

Charleston charm

Pros: The location
Cons: The beds were not the best.
This is a centrally located high quality Embassy Suites. They have a nice breakfast and wonderful staff.

Bugs in the Room!

Posted Jul 5, 2017 on Hotels
This is not a 3.5 star hotel for $300 a night. Several families came in for my wedding and it was just awful. Our rooms were old and outdated. Stains and just all around dirty. Lighting was terrible and my room had bugs in it. Bugs! The staff was a nice but the management was not terribly accommodating. My grandmothers room (a 94 year old woman) was problematic. First we reserved a wheelchair for her and we had issues getting that. Then we also requested a room that had a window and was close to the elevator. We didn't get either. To add further salt to injury the tv didn't work nor the coffee maker. To get a room which we actually requested for was more than difficult. There are much better places to stay in Historic Charleston than this dump.
