It's an older hotel that could use some updating. The showers have mildew. The lobby was very clean and the staff very friendly.

Front desk staff was amazing! Especially Keisha! Breakfast was great also. The woman tending to the breakfast area was extremely friendly and attentive. Had an unexpected overnight stay and we were happy with the location.

The staff were friendly,accommodating, and couldn’t be more helpful. I thought we’d be closer to downtown. I was sorry the pool was closed, but the stay was great .

My favorite part of this hotel is the staff, in particular, Isaiah, who checked me in. He is so personable and welcoming - he makes you feel right at home and if he has known you for years. After a long day at work it is nice to be greeted by someone with so much energy and personality. He is top notch.

My room was not property clean some one toys was left underneath the bed if my room was clean properly that would.not been there. Spots on the chair and stool. I also didnt understand why pay 15 dollars a night for parking when there no designated parking spot. There was aloud noise thur out the night and my view was a maintance building. This was the smallest bathroom i have ever seen in and hotel room. Check in i waitied no one was there and check out same thing.

I really appreciate being allowed to check in early. In addition to that, I received an unexpected upgrade! The man who checked me in was personable and very nice. It was truly a great check-in experience. You can't beat good service.

Staff were welcoming, enthusiastic, helpful. And really wanted me to write a positive review - which is easy! Location is convenient, a good place to stay if you want to explore Charleston without breaking the bank. Breakfast was included, and it was good. Rooms are spacious and showers were great. Easy access to the city, the waterfront, and the highways in and out of town. A comfortable hotel at a budget price.

I love the suite. It is spacious and has a tub for soaking. It is well lit and just offers a more relaxing feel because of the size. Thank you for the water bottles in the room. That is one touch I really love.

VERY small room, the bed was not a king as advertised, no entry light, the bathroom is in desperate need for upgrades- the tiles were cracked, there were cracks in the ceiling, the grout was in terrible condition, there was NO soap in the shower (I picked a bad time to forget mine!), the shower door didn't shut, there was a loud humming all night that kept me awake, the charging outlets on the table drained my battery instead of charging it, housekeeping barged into my room while we were still in bed (2 hours before checkout!!!), the carpet in the room was wet and smelled like vomit. There was no parking available so we had to walk a block to a parking garage. For an almost $300 a night stay it was terrible!!! Will never stay at this location again.

The room had a connection door to the next room. I was able to hear the neighbors. The scent of the cleaning material used in the room was very strong at the beginning. The bed was comfortable. The parking was $16 $8 destination charge. It was self served. I don't understand the destination charge.

Very few properties in Charleston met our price point. While this one did, my impression is they strive to add on additional fees because they can, not that they add any value. There’s an $8/day fee that in one place was called a resort fee and in another place was called a tourism fee. Don’t know what this fee was for other than to bleed more money out of us. There is also a $15/day parking fee for a small surface lot at the hotel or a parking garage next door shared with Publix. The room was good, very quiet hotel, at least until the fire alarm went off at 2:30 am the last night we were there. They did knock off a day of parking off our bill due to the inconvenience. Breakfast had many options and plenty of seating. While the heat/air would turn on and off as indicated, the fan itself ran the entire time, even with the unit in the off position. Don’t know that we would stay here again.

I liked that it was located conveniently close to the historic district using uber transportation. The included breakfasts were a bonus with lots of choices and good quality food.
