Great location and lovely accomodations

Posted Aug 24, 2017
Pros: Location and historic value
Cons: No suggestions. We loved it!
Location: Close it was to the City Market, which is open evenings Thursday - Saturday. Easy to run back to check out different vendors at night.
This hotel is located right in the center of the King Street shopping district, very close to the Charleston City Market and in the center of the the historic district. Wonderfully historic, but the rooms are appointed with updated bathrooms and current comforts of higher end hotels. Highly recommended.

One night stay

Posted Jul 8, 2017
Pros: Great location , wonderful staff and spacious clean rooms.
Location: The Inn is right on King Street. Close to everything. Market Street is right around the corner.
I visit Charleston often . This was my first stay at Kings Courtyard Inn. We were very pleased. The parking was a breeze. The lot is directly behind the Inn. The front desk staff was very welcoming and inviting . We arrived a bit early, but she allowed us to park our car and walk to have lunch while our room was being cleaned for us . When our room was ready , I received a call from the front desk letting us know. They serve wine and cheese from 5 to 6 , which was very nice. They also have a continental breakfast in the morning , which can be delivered to your room.

Quaint yet nicely appointed historic hotel

Very lovely hotel. Historic and yet very modern amenities such as nice bathrooms, AC and good wifi. My room was above King Street, yet very quiet. Excellent location for shopping and walking around Charleston. Early evening wine & cheese reception, followed by sherry service. Light breakfast complimentary in the morning, either in dining area or brought to your room. My one suggestion to hotel staff is better advanced info on accessing parking lot. You may want to call ahead for directions to their lot.

Historic vs conveniences. Good location to nearly everywhere downtown. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Stumbled upon a gem!

Posted May 24, 2017
We were on a girls trip in Myrtle Beach and decided to take an impromptu road trip to Charleston. We only had one night to spend there so we wanted to stay where we could see the most. We stumbled upon this hotel and fell in love!! All the staff was so friendly, they noticed we were very sunburnt and promptly gave us some aloe to borrow and bring back as we pleased. The hotel is right near all the shopping and great places to eat and grab a drink. Just a quick walk around the hotel and you get to see some beautiful scenery of this city. The free wine and cheese in the lobby was a great bonus, although sometimes people in the courtyard can echo and be loud in the rooms. All in all I would DEFINITELY come back.. had a great time thank you!
