Not far from the Historic district

Pros: I liked the decor
Cons: Do not falsely advertise. Night staff should be as good as day staff.
Location: It's not too far from the historic district and there was lots to see and in Downtown Savannah.
We were traveling from Florida and arrived late. Booked my room on Expedia. I specifically asked about parking because the website photos don't show any. I was told there was accessible hotel parking. However, there is a a parking garage that is only accessible before 9 pm. If you arrive after that, you must pay $30 for valet parking which I thought was ridiculous and should have been disclosed on the website. Night shift front desk attendant was not very attentive or knowledgeable. Room looked like the photos on the website. There was no "hot breakfast" included as advertised. There is a restaurant on ground floor, which is separate from the hotel and nothing was included with the room. So, I didn't get the deal I expected. I would have rather stayed within walking distance to the historic district and would have spent the same amount of money.

Good traveling location

Pros: Location
Cons: TLC of the facility and cleaning in hall areas
I booked a 2 queen bed room on Expedia for my sister and I to have a couple days together. When we arrived, we were asked if we knew we had only one king bed. I showed the attendant our confirmation and then she researched and noticed they had changed the booking. She said she did have on 2 queen room, however it was right next to the bar. My sister and I decided to stay in the one king room. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was alright however was not fully stocked with amenities, but this could have just been an accident. There was no towel rack or hook in the bathroom. The room overall ended up fine. The hotel is in a rougher state than the pictures show. For example carpet in the elevator was torn up, hallways needed some tlc and some cleaning. The pool closes at 10:00 which was sad as you want to spend the day out and about, so the evening would be the best time to use it. The next day it was closed for cleaning during the day, but then we checked earlier in the evening and there was a very odd smell in that room and the water was very cold. We did not swim. The staff at the front desk was friendly and helpful as was the gentleman at the front door. The location was right off of I16 so it was easy and convenient to get to, park in the garage across the street, and then walk to explore the city. Overall I rated things average as I did not see anything that went above and beyond there was nothing that was too bad.

This was my second stay at the b. Some of the staff was not as pleasant or thorough but the proximity and live entertainment made up for the other shortcomings.

It was ok I saved a few dollars stayed by there and used it on all the wonderful savannah food

Pros: The closeness to the historic district and to the trolley/bus tours
This renovated hotel sits right on the south edge of the Savannah Historic District making everything that district has to offer within walking distance.

In need of a good cleaning and vacuuming

Pros: The concierge was very helpful on Monday morning. And Lazar was very pleasant at checkout.
Cons: VACUUM! And do some customer service training.
Location: On the outer edge of the historic district, but it was easy to walk around from the hotel.
We checked in and immediately noticed there were dirt and crumbs on pretty much every carpet on every floor. Including in our room. One of the key cards had lipstick on it. When we got to the room, we learned that one of the lamps had burned out. I called housekeeping and the front desk. No one answered either. So I went to the front desk and asked for a bulb. I was told, with a shrug, that maintenance didn't work on Sundays and "I don't know where the bulbs are." so they could send someone the next day (when we were checking out). The woman at the front desk couldn't care less about us. I wanted some brochures on Savannah. She pointed me to a separate room with some racks of brochures. There was no light and the room reaked of Chinese food (which was in take out containers, in the dark, on the concierge desk.). Finally, the room smelled HEAVILY perfumed. The windows could not be opened to air it out, so we blasted the a/c to try to get rid of the scent. It didn't work.

Had a two night stay at this hotel, had a great location, excellent service, our room was clean with new furnishings,yon very quiet. No complaints, will recommend to anyone.

Wonderful hotel, super comfy bed. Very close to an excellent coffee shop and only a block away from the dot stop. Had a wonderful stay.
