The property’s best asset is that it is very conveniently located the historic district and many great restaurants. The hotel’s square box design with vaulted lobby ceilings is an old and tired design. We had a lobby view room that was dark, even with all the room lights turned on. Bathroom mirror was old and tired looking, with trim pealing off. Shower did now drain water well. The bar in the lobby was three stars at best. Staff refused to clear our table saying they provided “bar service only.” So we bussed our own table to clean it, picked our own drinks up at the bar and took them to our table. The roof top bar at the Bohemian Hotel next door was a much better experience. The “resort” fee charged by the hotel I guess is standard one days, but nothing about this property except its location justifies a resort charge.
