Good location

The hotel was very clean and well kept. The breakfast was typical for continental. My only complaint is that the bed wasn't very comfortable (at all).

Nice hotel in Historic Savannah

Pros: staff were friendly and helpful, room was clean and comfortable
Cons: breakfast offerings, real silverware and plates instead of disposable
Location: close to visitors' center, about 1 mile to waterfront, close to great restaurants
My partner and I planned a somewhat spontaneous stopover in Savannah on our way between NC and FL, and we're so glad we did! This hotel was walking distance to everything we wanted to see in the historic section of Savannah, and the rate was reasonable. All the staff we encountered were friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and we were very happy with our stay.

Nice hotel in historic area

The staff was very polite and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The surrounding area was not so good. Also there was a menu in the room out on display for a restaurant that is not longer in business. Ok hotel for a pricey rate. They charge an extra $100 on top of the $175.00 rate for your pet.

I am glad you found our rooms clean and comfortable and our staff to be polite and helpful. I can certainly understand how unexpected expenses may be unpleasant. Unfortunately, there is additional and necessary cleaning that must be done in preparation for our next guest after a pet stays. Many hotels that do not charge a fee, do not do extra cleaning - which may raise sanitation issues for you and your pet. We hope you will choose our hotel again in the future! Willie H. Location kind of creepy and dumpy. Valet is a joke, I know all places have it but it's literally ten feet across the street. They should be smart and charge but let the people park their own vehicles. Hotel had a sewery smell and the air conditioner clicked on every two minutes all day long. Really annoying. on a positive note..Danae was the breakfast lady and she was a joy every single morning. She was genuine and oozed southern hospitality. Rest of staff was not as friendly.

Enjoyed the stay, my only complaint was that Incsme down to breakfast at 957 am and it was all shut down before 10 which was the time it should have shut down.

Awesome BUT BEWARE!!!

Love this hotel BUT BEWARE!!! They double charge your credit card!! I told them I had prepaid and they said they didn't have my reservation number. I showed them everything from emails to my Hotels.com account and even called Hotels and had them call the hotel and send a fax that they said they never received... I'm still fighting them on crediting my card back. DONT LET THEM TAKE YOUR CARD! Find a different place before you get charged double!

Dennis the Porter/Valet was my favorite staff member but, all staff was very courteous and extremely helpful. The facility was a great value and convenient to the Historical District... Great amenities... LOVED it!

Great location for kids

Great location in Savannah for visitors with kids...right next to train and children's museums and tour bus stops. The staff at this hotel is very friendly! Breakfast was good and Monday-Wednesday the hotel offers a free happy hour.
