The hotel is situated exactly were you want it for an overnight stay, everything at hand tapas bars, horse and carriage rides and the open top buses for a nice trip with the headphones to tell you about all the interesting places.

Stay in Seville, SpainPosted Oct 31, 2017
Pros: Located in the historic district and close to major sights.
Cons: the hotel room key is a safety issue
We are avid travelers and have to been to a lot of places in Europe and have stayed at countless hotels mostly booked through Expedia, but this is one of the worst experiences we have had. Main reason for booking at Goya is the proximity to the major sights and being in the center of it all, however these reasons cannot make up for the inconvenience we had even just for a two-night stay. The major issue we had is the SAFETY issue regarding the room key. Apparently, you cannot turn the lights on without locking your room first and to leave the room, you have to pull the key out of the lock switch and turn the key multiple times to unlock the door if you want to leave. This is a major safety issue for us, in case of an emergency like a fire, it would be impossible to get out. There are also window grills, so not a fire escape either . The day we arrived, the hotel manager/front desk person sent us to a room in the 2nd floor that did not have a working airconditioner so we requested another room since it was still in the 80's F during our stay. After much waiting and prompting, we were given a room on the first floor. The 1st floor room's air conditioner was working but there was a pump attached to it that makes a loud hissing noise every few minutes. Apparently the manager knew about it but did not tell us. So on our 1st night, as we were sleeping this noise woke us up every few minutes and we did not get enough sleep. We moved. Pls.consider yourselves warned!
Great hotel at good pricePosted Oct 1, 2017 on Hotels
Nice hotel in wonderful location. If you drive, you will need to walk from a nearby garage to the hotel, roughly 5 minutes.

Clean, quiet, great locationPosted Sep 27, 2017
Right at the centre of Santa Cruz, Seville's historic quarter. Great tapas bars and restaurants on the doorstep. Could not have picked a better place.

Right in the centre of the tourist area. Small but comfortable rooms. Good value for money.

Great location and staffPosted Sep 1, 2017 on Hotels
The situation of this hotel is fantastic, walking distance to virtually everywhere. The staff were great and went out of their way to help - when our air conditioning leaked, they immediately gave us another room, rather than us have to put up with a technician in our room.
