The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast selections were fantastic. They leave pastries out for the day that was great when we came back at night . Location fantastic . Rooms was clean and comfortable bed .

The property is in a convenient area, close enough to the metro & the harbor to walk. Lots of food options nearby. The staff were fantastic! They were helpful in finding great food & with ferry schedules. The breakfast had plenty of options. A nice thing is they offer drinks & snacks 24 hours a day. There is a small elevator. Our room had a loft with two twin beds and a full/queen bed below. They offered the normal toiletries along with razors, toothbrushes, combs, & cotton swabs. It was a good sized room according to European standards. The bed itself and pillows were not as comfortable as I would have liked, and the ac in the room just didn’t seem to work at all, only downfall to our stay. We did a day trip to Almafi /Positano/Sorrento from here on our own using the ferry & public transit.

We loved the charming Spanish Quarter. The staff was most accomodating in helping us with directions and procuring ice for us. The room was perfect, with a loft space for my granddaughter to sleep in.

Hotel was very clean, staff was very friendly, accommodations were great. Location was in an area that was very walkable and attractions were close by. I would recommend staying here if you are in the Naples area.

First and foremost- the staff was amazing!! Met 3 of them and they were all absolutely amazing The location was perfect and parking instructions were so easy.. Felt bad it was only one night, will absolutely recommend and go back Price was also very good and the room had a second floor family of 5

We found the hotel central to our interests. The Spanish quarter is not for everyone. The rooms with terraced are nice but dated.

It was an amazing five days in the quarteri spagnoli - easy to get around and a decent breakfast. The top floor with the terrace is beautiful and makes it seem very spacious. Only things missing were a kettle and face washers. Bath quiet difficult to get in and out of if you are a bit older or have bad back. Would highly recommend here to experience the true Napoli!

Breakfast selection was very limited and poor quality, excellent location and conveniently located near metro, tourist sights and ferry terminals, no issues with noise at night, rooms need to be renovated, enjoyed large terrace with table and couches.

Very convenient location, close to all attractions and the sea. Service is excellent, they not only serve excellent variety breakfast, they also have juices, water, ans snacks in the kitchen all day for the guests. I highly recommend this hotel and will certainly stay again.

Unexpectedly nice hotel in the busy, crowded and narrow Naples Spanish quarter. Very convenient location walking distance to all the shopping and funicular train. Must take funicular to Castle St Elmo for great views of city and Vesuvius. Great shopping and pizza dining nearby.

We had an excellent stay at Hotel il Convento. It is in crowded back streets, full of small shops, cafes and restaurants as well as scooters and some cars ( which need to be watched out for!). We enjoyed this vibrancy and liked being able to walk and choose where to eat each night, often stopping for a drink beforehand. We felt quite safe. The Main Street (Toledo) is very close and metro stations a short walk away. Once inside the hotel, our room was very quiet and we slept well. The breakfast was excellent, with a good range from scrambled eggs, ham, cheese and bread, to cereals, fruit and yoghurt. Lots of pastries! Italian coffee from a machine which we could access all day, Much appreciated. Fortunately my Husband did bring his own Earl grey tea bags which were not in the selection box. My only negative comment! Receptionists were friendly and helpful. We would love to return one day.

He a lovely 2 night stay would recommend to anyone wanting to experience the Spanish Quarter in all its splendour. The hotel even left a cake in the room for my sons birthday which was a lovely touch. Would definitely come back the staff were so friendly.

Great small hotel with perfect location
Hotel il Convento is a great place to stay in the Spanish Quarter. All the staff were incredibly friendly. Breakfast is really tasty, with a little bit of variety from day to day. The room was comfortable, with a great bathroom and shower. We booked the top floor room with terrace. Even though rainy weather made it not as useful it was fun to go out there and bring in the sounds and smells of the city. The hotel is two blocks up from Via Toledo which is a major shopping and dining street. It is pedestrian only and full of life. It’s not very far to the Metro L1 at Toledo (check out the skylight from the middle escalator) or the central Funicular to get up the hill to more shopping and dining choices. With tons of choices in Naples I would plan to return to il Convento when I return. It was that good.

Location is everything
What a great location. Right in the middle of the Spanish Quarter. Step straight out into the small washing filled alleys, the noise and hubub. Only a few meters from the main Tolado street (imagine a very crowded Oxford Street but more fun). The hotel is small and 3 star but has everything you need including very good double glazing! The rooms are clean, good linen, with comfortable beds, and air conditioning if you need it. The staff were delightful and very helpful. Continental breakfast had a good selection.

This was a great little hotel in a fantastic area of central Naples, very close to shopping, tourist sights and loads of restaurants. You can walk everywhere, and the area felt very safe to walk around in the evening. The staff were friendly and although compact, the room was very comfortable. It's noisy but so is everywhere in Naples!

Dear Mr. Jonathan, we are sorry that you did not enjoy your stay with us. In fact on the day of your departure in the morning there was a power failure in the whole area here around (not only in our hotel) for about 4 hours but helped by the emergency lamps and candles we did our best. Breakfast was also regularly served in our breakfast rooms. For the rest, our hotel was completely renovated 2 years ago, maintaining its ancient style (not old) with antique wooden furniture or handmade by skilled craftsmen ... even the windows are in solid wood with double glazing soundproofed. We hope to meet you again in the future to show you how much we care about customer care so that you have a good memory of your trip to Naples.
