Pretty hotel with most modern amenities!

Beautiful lobby, helpful staff and fairly decent sized rooms! The staff are pleasant and helpful- but a little slow when requesting things like room service! Food is very nice but the menu is fairly limited for veggies! Overall though, pretty hotel, great pools and location and facilities.

It's been a pleasing and comfortable stay. The breakfast was really good. The staff were very friendly. I would recommend any one to stay there. It's not too far from shops and restaurants.

Large resort, close to airport

Great hotel with good facilities. Location wasn't too bad either. The breakfast buffet was really varied and tasty. Negatives: - Some of the hotel rooms at the back of the resort are ~5mins from the main hotel where everything is happening - The above is particularly noticeable when your room key deactivates which happened 4 times in our 5 night stay - Some days the rooms are cleaned til 4pm - Concierge weren't particularly helpful or friendly

Absolutely recommendable

Pros: Hotel condition- excellent staff -room comfort - amenities
Cons: TV programming !
Location: A bit far from the old Medina. Close to railway station and airport. Restaurants and shopping is right around the corner.
The hotel is fantastic and Marrakesh is definitely worth a longer trip. Well maintained, clean, comfortable, excellent and friendly staff, very good food (and drinks), nice swimming pool and SPA. Only issue was the TV that kept on turning on at midnight despite having disconnected the alarm and nobody really knew how to fix it. The hotel is about 30 minutes walking from the Medina (old Marrakesh) and that could be tiring with temperatures close to 40 degrees Celsius; however Taxis are cheap and always available. It is very close to the railway station and the airport, however this does not affect the hotel in any way (no noise whatsover). Restaurants and even a modern (western) mall are close by.

FABULOUS INDEED

Pros: All staff were helpful especially receptionist Mr Berrada (Med Amine) was amazingly outstanding customer services and Ms Kaoutaaaar at Front Security.
Cons: Would be helpful if more staff spoke English as communicated the simplest of things sometimes proved difficult.
Location: Menara Mall was good as there are quite a few eating places around, across from there are camel rides. Madina at night was nice to visit.
We arrived in the afternoon from London had a prepaid taxi booked so getting there was stress free. The ride was approximately 10 to 15 minutes. The hotel staff that greeted us was very polite but I was taken back by the lack of English amongst everyone apart from a few that we came across throughout our stay. Mohamed took our case up to our room key didn't work but he went back down and sorted it for us, he was ever so polite (my daughter spoke French which came in very handy). We were tired from travelling and decided to have dinner at one of the restaurants in the hotel, BIG MISTAKE, it cost a small fortune , the food came lukewarm after we waited for ages even though we were the only people in the restaurant, and the meals weren't anything special! The buffet breakfast was amazing lots of choices. There are a few eating places within 15 minutes walking distance either way, Bella Italia, KFC, Mc Donald, Chili American Grill and Bar to name a few. Taxis and tours were a rip off, we were misadvised by one of the female receptionist that the cost for a short ride will be 50 Dirhams found out from a local it should be 10 Dirhams for the ride for example from the hotel to the Mall, but remember never ask the driver beforehand and always flag a taxi down from the high road. The tours we arranged with taxis we used while there which is a much cheaper way, camel rides you need to haggle, cost for 1per 50 DIR. Cost 400 Dirhams to visit Atlas Mountains and Waterfalls 3 ppls.

Not a 5 star experience.

If you're expecting 5 star experience similar to intercontinental, Marriott and Ritz Charlton then you will be very disappointed! Although this hotel looks and smells like 5 star the service was appalling. Everything was at snail pace having to repeatedly ask for my room to be cleaned, for towels, water for tea and coffee , keep having to go back to reception as the room card stop working . JUST OVERALL ANNOYING. This was supposed to be my time off with the kids but ended up having to continually chase the hotel staff which was very frustrating by the end of it.

Amazing hotel and wonderful staff

Staying at this hotel was one of the best decision I made, when planning my holiday to Marrakech. The hotel is beautiful, the grounds are stunning and the customer service is superb. Special mention goes out to Reda, one of the waiters at Manso bar for exceptional service. I had an amazing time at this hotel and I would definitely come back again. Thank you Movenpick Marrakech.
