We loved the rooftop pool. We spent hours in the pool looking at the city. The room was also very nice but it did take a while for the Aircon to kick in. The breakfast was good and had lots of options. The restaurant also has vegan options. Organising transport to and from Saigon Airport was also very easy through the hotel.

My room and bathroom were totally five star. But the coolest thing was the rooftop. It wound around through two bars, a hot tub, a swimming pool, and a garden. There was also an area with a plexiglass fence where you could sit and look down at the city.

All staff friendly, helpful and efficient. Special mention to Mike (An) on reception who saved my life when having to change flights to Bangkok. 🙏 Roof top pool, spa and eating has plenty shade and is set out in several areas so more intimate feel. 👏 Would happily return. 👍

Good points: the room, the breakfast, airport pickup driver was really helpful and gave us a lot of recommendations for the area, the location is great, the lobby is nice, rooftop terrace is nice. Areas that could be improved on: some front desk staff lacks training. It took way too long to check in because they said our reservation was not in their system. Although I had been corresponding with the hotel the day before to arrange for airport pick up and they confirmed we are guests of the hotel so I don't understand how our reservation was not there when we were checking in? No apologies or explanations why they couldn't find our reservation. But miraculously after an hour they found it. Some of the front desk staff we encountered weren't very friendly. I didn't expect over the top cheeriness but a smile wouldn't have hurt. So as much as we liked most of the things about the hotel, due to our personal experiences with some of the staff (and our observations with how the same staff member interacted with other guests - she was very rude to the other guests), we would not stay here again.

Staff were very friendly and spoke English. Great breakfast and location. There are cheaper hotel options nearby but this one is very good value for its slightly higher cost. I would definitely stay here again.

From the airport pick up by Phuong, organised through the hotel to Tin and Lauren from reception and the staff in the restaurant, bar and luggage handlers, the staff are amazing, kind helpful and friendly. The property has 2 or 3 sections to it and facilities are great. Its located in District 1 close to everything! Although the only room available was a twin room which was quite small with a window with no view the staff put our beds together and the place was so clean! The free breakfast is fantastic and they gave us free drink vouchers and a free meal in the,restaurant. Couldnt have asked for more!! Thank you fir naking our stay in Ho Chi Min so special. Amazing staff in all areas looked after our needs and nothing was too hard for them to help with. From taxi to tours it was all easily taken care of. Door Staff even helped us translate and understand the cash in a taxi. Massage (only) was a daily for us as well and we were loving it. Great way to start or end the day. These aussies will be back for sure.

I had a wonderful stay here. The breakfasts were great with good variety. I was upgraded to a window room and it was lovely; clean, big bed and amenities. The foot massages were amazing and I really enjoyed the rooftop pool and spa.

Excellent Alagon
We spent two nights here after ariving from a few days in Singapore, from getting out the taxi to getting to the room the staff were so helpful. Yhe room was very spacious with a big bed and annd well sized bathroom. The location is excellent, only walking distance to most attractions and best of all the food market is only a couple of minutes walk away.

Do not stay here, unsafe!!! Stayed 2 nights Jun 2023, while traveling with my adult daughter. IMPORTANT: Safety risk! Late the evening of the first night I had to leave in a hurry to not miss my flight 11pm, I said goodbye to my daughter in the lobby, witnessed by a few hotel employees. I ended up missing my flight and returned to hotel around 1am going back to our room were my daughter was staying one more night. About 3:30am someone with an electronic room key attempted to enter our room, they opened the door, we yelled out and had the chain on the door stopping them from entering. We called the lobby and they claimed they had someone checking the air conditioning in the empty rooms. I do not believe this to be true, what maintenance checks room at 3:30 am!!! Plus our room was registered as occupied and paid for another night! I do think an employee that was aware my 30yr old daughter was alone in the room attempted to enter in the middle of the night!!!!! Thank god I missed my flight and we had the chain on the door. Also: The check in was slow, there 3 people at the desk but only one was checking in guest and it was busy. The last night we had a lot of bugs (small ants I think) around our sink. We did not report this as it was late, we were tired and we were checking out early next day. I did however tell the desk at checkout, they did not seem to care.

Nice hotel, part of a complex, so figuring out which rooms to go through to find your floor's elevator or even which check-out desk can be challenging. My room was nicely sized, equipped well, and had good temp control (necessary in Saigon). Staff was great, breakfast buffet was very nice. Location is good, very walkable to great districts and attractions.

The location of the hotel is excellent and public spaces in this property are beautifully designed. The rooms are not as nice. They are simple and a bit dated. The bathrooms are poorly designed with a horrendous corner bath and shower that requires climbing in a very high bathtub that is not secured to the floor or wall. It was impossible to shower properly in this tub. We had an item disappear from our room. The water in the rooftub hot tub was oily and the tub itself was in disrepair. They do not accommodate food restrictions for Westerners. If.you are vegetarian and don't eat Asian dinner food for breakfast you only have dry bread and cakes to choose from. This hotel had one of the biggest spreads for breakfast and we had nothing to eat. They serve individually wrapped processed cheese food slices instead of cheese and sweetened junky cereals.
