Pros: It is very clean. the bedsheets smells clean...the bathroom is also very clean..Nick made us feel very welcome.
Cons: Reduce closet height and attach an exhaust fan in it's place.
Location: very good location...walking distance to the salamanca market...lots of place to eat..within 2 minutes walk....will definitely come back and stay here
The one bedroom unit was ok except for the air conditioning....The Remedy: reduce the closet height by 1 foot to allow the air to circulate. attach an exhaust fan at upper portion of the closet....aside from that, my family and I had a very comfortable stay in Quest waterfront serviced apartment...Due to our delayed flight we arrived there around almost 11pm, and Nick was very friendly and accommodating.

Fantastic location

Pros: Location
Cons: Windows that actually open.
Hotel is situated right on the waterfront at Constitution Dock. Lots to see and do, all within walking distance.

Thank you for your feedback and comments. A definite plus for us at Quest Waterfront is the location as you've mentioned. Easy walking to the beautiful waterfront, numerous restaurants and many tourist attractions. Unfortunately the windows do not open, however there is an airvent that can be accessed provided fresh air to the rooms. Kind regards Robyn Braslin Front Office Manager

Central comfort

Posted Oct 2, 2016
Great location by the waterfront, next to the MONA ferry, Parliament and Salamanca. Great staff, tidy hotel. But if you're sensitive to noise bring ear plugs, as on the weekend it's quite the party atmosphere in the nearby bars and nightclubs.

Thank you Helena for your positive comments and feedback. Quest Waterfront's staff provide great customer service to our guests and our location is in a prime position, which is fantastic to hear from our guests. We continue to work with management regarding the noise from the surrounding hotels; however this is a work in progress. Kind regards Robyn Braslin Front Office Manager

Great location near the waterfront and Salamanca Place. I stayed in a studio room which had everything needed and was roomy. Room was clean, bed wasn't amazing but not too bad.

CBD and Dock Area Convenience

Posted Nov 17, 2015
Pros: The location was the major decider for choosing this hotel.
Cons: Rethink the parking and give guests access by keycard, or similar, to the undercover parking.
Location: See above re location. There are an abundance of eating places at Salamanca, plus the Saturday market is not to be missed come rain or come shine!
This hotel/apartment complex has convenient access to the Hobart docks and Salamanca areas and is just a short walk to the CBD. The rooms and bathrooms are a decent size and well-appointed. The only issue is the parking, which is not clearly explained in the documentation, but the problem was not insurmountable.

We stayed in twin room for 6 nights. Kitchenette was good space with all you could want. Bathroom was kept stocked. Room quite large. Would definitely stay again. Great central position, close to Salamanca.

Good cost performance

Posted Oct 3, 2015
Pros: The kindness of the hotel staff, microwaves and tablewares equipped with each room, cleanness of the room.
Cons: The noise of the bar during the night time. But, I can still take a sleep.
Location: Close to harbor, supermarket, restaurants in the central downtown.
The facility offers serviced apartment rooms, thus each room has tables, microwaves, tableware including dishes, glasses, knifes, etc. When compared with other hotels in the vicinity, the cost performance of this accommodation is relatively good. This is close to the harbor so the location is almost the best if you like to enjoy cruising. One possible issue is that some rooms are close to the bar next to this facility and thus you may suffer from the noise during the night. This depends on the position of the room you are going to stay. My colleague did not notice the noise since the room faces the opposite direction while my room is relatively close to the bar and I heard the noise there (while I could sleep well...) The hotel staff were so kind to help us to take a shuttle bus bound for the airport. You can also find a supermarket within 5 mins by walk. The center of Hobart is also close so you can easily find restaurants within a walking distance.
