Rough, noisy area with exceptionally busy foot and vehicular traffic. The hotel itself was pleasant however. Our issue was not with the hotel but its location.

The price of this hotel's rooms is too high in my opinion. I spent a fortune to stay in an incredibly hot room which I could not cool down because according to the front desk "the whole hotel was on heating mode and couldn't be changed". I ended up having to sleep with the window open (barely open for the necessary security lock) enduring the external noises throughout the night. I also want to point out that I booked a room-only rate hoping to save a bit, but I feel it was still a pretty expensive option. The breakfast was an additional 27 euros/day which seems an exorbitant amount of money for a single meal: I spent less eating a steak in a nearby restaurant! I must also point out that the housekeeping staff was pretty noisy in the hallway during the morning; I wanted to sleep in since I was on holiday but more than once I got woken up by them tossing around the vacuum cleaner and talking loudly to each other across the hallway. Finally, I asked for a king bed and got a room with 2 twin pushed together. As a fairly large individual, I rolled over during the night and found myself on the floor when the two beds drifted apart. I definitely cannot recommend this property.
