It was quite a challenge to get WiFi in my room. Nothing worked. They said I should pay but then I would be charged. They finally sent a technician. It was a process not a technical problem I expected more from an expensive hotel

Bathroom in the room was sub par. Shower was terrible in my opinion low water pressure. Sink was bad, no in between hot and cold water it was either steaming or freezing. Pillows were terrible on the bed, only saving grace was the view of the city and a rotating love seat that allowed you to sit facing the city. Overall for the price would not recommend very underwhelming.

I love the location and view! I have been here many times but this recent visit was disappointing. I arrived in the evening and sat in my car for a while waiting for assistance which experienced in the past. No one came so I locked my car and went to the front desk, and only then did the valet people appeared. There was no one at the front desk. Eventually two men appeared. Check in was slow and interrupted by several guests who distracted the gentleman who was checking me in.. Finally I sat down and waited for the man at the desk for about ten minutes. Then I was given my key. Once I got to my room, I attempted to dial my phone to request room service but there was just a busy tone. Then I went downstairs to order room service. I went to the restaurant and they said I could not order from them and I was directed to the lobby to use the phone in the desk. I tried to call and when I was I ordering I was disconnected so I went to the desk and asked them to order it…a lot of running around for simple things-as stated, I have stayed here many times and previously, my experience was flawless. I’m not sure why this visit was so weird but whoever is in charge should pay better attention to staffing issues and the comfort of their guests! Yikes! Would love to return but not sure if I want to if I have to be challenged by routine needs.

Best part about this hotel is the view. Do not settle for just a room or a partial view room. You have to pay more and get the river view. So worth it! Absolutely extraordinary!!!!!!!!! Also, a river walk park across the road. Perfect! Transportation to the city - Ferry / Train. We took the ferry. It was on the weekend, so it ran every 30 minutes. There was a fee but again worth it. Small downside, the room needed a thorough dusting but the view!

I paid for a room with a view (at $404/night) expecting to see the Manhattan skyline, and instead was given a small room that looked directly into an apartment building. Not cool, Marriott. When I asked to switch they said they could change my room for an additional $80. Also not cool given that my bill for the weekend was $1k. And finally, they charge $9 for a half liter of bottled water in the room. Seriously. That just feels predatory! I’m staying in a Hampton Inn in upstate NY tonight, at a quarter of the price, and finding a cleaner, more modern experience.

The room was small and not cleaned. Headboard had centrum stains and smelled needed to covered by a bedsheet. The blinds were broken. No internet service TV would not stay on for more then 15 mins. Desk was scratched up and chipped. Carpet stains from elevator to room. Outlets did not work. No fan in the bathroom. I think is enough. To least we were not impressed. The liking of the room to price ratio was very very low. The doorman was very nice and helpful. It is highly unlikely we would stay at the W again!

It was our 23rd anniversary And we was greeted with champagne and balloons love that View was great Only thing for me I saw just two hairs in the bathroom No worries I cleaned it up Thank you this was our second experience here we came for our 20th anniversary as well

The area was convenient. I didn’t get the room I was anticipating due to the way Expedia advertised the available rooms. Room was average not sure I would Call it a 4 start hotel
