"Our heater didn’t work, they said they’d send someone, they didn’t. So we made a fire, they said they’d deliver wood and then just dropped off kindling and no wood. We were so cold with no heat. The shower faucet didn’t work so it was either freezing water or all the way hot. We left a day early."

"I like the location. And from a distance, the hotel looked pretty nice too. But upon closer inspection there was a lot to be desired. I was on the bottom floor and the noise from the upper floor was really bad. Not that the people up there were being unreasonable, it was just not insulated very well between the floors so every time someone walked anywhere I could hear them. The entry door had a big gap underneath it that light from the hallway came through the entire night. There was also a very bright AC unit mounted on the wall. I threw a T-shirt over that, and that helped. There was a charging port right on the bed frame, which is nice in theory, but there was a bright blue light on it that never went out. The floor was uneven and you could feel low points whenever you walked around. There was a random hole in the wall about the size of a quarter. Kind of weird, no? Ultimately, these things weren’t THAT big of a deal. The bed was reasonable, the lady at the desk was nice, and other than the people above me, it was fairly quiet. But I’m a person who likes details, and this hotel felt cheaply built and already wearing down, even though the style was fairly modern. I would not stay there again, but if you’re in a pinch, and you’re not super picky, it’s fine."

"Stayed for 2 days in April. It is centrally located and served as the perfect jumping off point for day trips to the Hoh Rainforest, Bogachiel State Park, the Pacific Beaches, La Push, and Neah Bay. Friendly staff. Nice and quiet at night. I would stay here again. "

"We were so comfortable. What a charming and interesting place built creatively and artistically from repurposed materials! The wood stove was easy to run and very effective. We were excited to see that the solar power worked really well, runs the lights and refrigerator. The propane stovetop worked great. The spiral staircase was well designed and with lots of perfectly placed handles and banisters. Beds were comfortable with plenty of nice blankets. We hope to come back and stay longer on future trips. "
