Beautiful hotel near of everything!

We loved this hotel because its location among other things like the kind staff, the delicious breakfast, the swimming pool, the amazing spa, everything!. The complimentary bicycles and umbrella a plus!

Great Location but bed bugs!

Pros: Proximity to Hoi An is great and there are free bikes to ride to the beach.
Cons: The hotel feels a little tired and worn and the breakfast isn't very nice.
The location of this hotel is great. You can walk into Hoi An and ride bikes to the beach. Unfortunately my friend got bad bugs there and we also found that the breakfast was very disappointing.

Nice old world hotel

Have stayed 3 times at this hotel and it has become popular with family's with 2 or more kids. The swimming pool is not large so when you get 10or 15 kids, some on large plastic floaters and others jumping and doing back flips It Not good for those who want to swim or just relax in the pool. The bar staff don't come out to ask if you want a drink or something to eat you have to go and ask for service. The garden surrounds are lovely. The rooms have baths only with a shower. These baths are to high of the floor and difficult to access . Breakfast was OK but very little variation from day to day.

Great place. Well positioned. Staff were very friendly. We arrived at 8:30am. Our rooms weren't ready as you'd expect but they made it a priority to have them ready and then offered us a free buffet breakie while we waited. I sm just writing the rest because tgere us a minimum amount of words that I have to write for this review which I think is pharking stupid!

Usually amazing but this time was just ok.

I have been here countless times over the last several years. I usually have no complaints but this last trip I left with a few niggles. One, the pool closes at 9:00pm and I went for a swim at 8:00pm. I asked for a towel and they told me the ran out and sorry, there were none. ???? Secondly, Breakfast finishes at 10:00am and I went at 9;45. They had packed and were still in the process of packing everything away and then told me breakfast was finished! I argued and said no, I still had 15minutes to grab something. I got told to come earlier. Three others walked in after me for breakfast also and they had to bring the bread back out. But the egg station was turned off and alot of choices not there. The next day I went at 9:40am and obviously the hotel was quiet and they had already started packing up again! It's not a nice feeling to be eating and having people walk around you cleaning and packing away making you feel you are in the wrong. Thirdly, I got a good and beverage voucher. Granted, half of this was my fault. It said to present voucher at time of ordering. I got room service and didn't see this line of text until check out. They refused to honour the 10% discount. I understand this was my fault but For customer service, good will as I've stayed there numerous times, they could have made me happy and deducted 10% off my food bill. It's these little things that get me and so I am reconsidering staying here on my next trip.

Great hotel

Pros: The Pool, spa treatments, the room and the location
Cons: Breakfast could be better
Stayed for 2 nights. 5 min walk to Old Town which was great. The pool was amazing. Definitely stay again

First trip to Hoi An

We had a lovely stay at Hoi An Historic Hotel for four nights. Our beautiful room overlooked the pool and across the gardens. The hotel is set in gardens that are tranquil and shaded by beautiful trees. Breakfast can be eaten in the gardens or inside the restaurant. The service was from all the staff was great and always with a smile. The hotel is in great location, a short walk to the old town, to the markets, restaurants and the river. We will stay here next time we go to Hoi An.

Great return visit yet again

Pros: Location, Space and friendly staff.
Spent 2 weeks in the Hoi an HH yet again and as always enjoyed it thoroughly. Great location so close to the old town sprawling gardens in an old world environment.. We will be returning again.
