Home away from home

From the moment I arrived, from the moment I left it was quite. My purpose of stay at this hotel was to get away. My mission was completed and the ultimate satisfaction.

Work weekend! Spacious room! Hadn’t been used in a while. Lots of dust on furniture and filthy dirty floors. Ask for a room cleaning Sat. Came back to find still had filthy floors and dusty furniture. But, the beds were made. It must be really hard to get a broom and a mop up to the second level.

Railroad noise

I just want to sleep there. A train whistle goes multiple times through the night. There was no microwave. The door on the vent to the furnace was dirty and the furnace was loud. A hair dryer was in a box under the sink but unusable. It had to be hard wired not just plugged in. A plug was broken off on the bedside lamp so I couldn’t plug my phone in bedside. The staff was nice and breakfast was decent. The location is convenient to freeway and shopping and restaurants.

Trash still in the room no dishes in the kitchen was changed again for the room even after paying online

Avoid this hotel

This hotel is overpriced. The room was disappointing. Musky smell, likely from a smoker in a non-smoking room. Very dark and dingy looking inside but big and the bed was comfortable. Front desk staff pleasant but the manager was something else. Plug removed from bathtub and it did not drain properly. Loose wire with a marrette on it on outside entrance. No lighting in key parts of the room. The hotel charged my credit card an extra $50 when I checked in as a deposit for possible damages. The manager said it was standard policy for all hotels but I have never been charged it before. I was told no parties in my room?? My wife and I are 71. Read the fine print here and avoid this hotel until Wyndam makes the owner clean it up. Expedia should not have this hotel on their site.

Staff had an attitude, very unprofessional. Paid to have 6 guests....only 4 pillows in whole place with no extra blankets or pillows for sofa bed. Toilet was running upstairs, barely any kitchen supplies (2 cups, no pans, 2 coffee cups). Very disappointed in room. Received a room that wasn’t updated renovated like stated. Will now be returning.

I am very sorry about your stay. By now we had finish remodeling the hotel. And as well we have sheets and blanket in every room for the pullout couch. Once again very sorry for the inconvenience while we were remodeling.

during a road trip with my 2 girls i. booked the Hawthorne suites. the property was under remodel and after parking next to a dumpster and a pile of old furniture, we found the room to be one of the worst rooms I ever paid for. water stains and loose ceiling tiles, bathroom door with a broken latch I went to the office and was told that they had no other rooms due to the remodel. the girls were really tired and I choose to tough it out but, I would not recommend this dump to anyone, even if they remodel, especially if they don't care enough a out their guest to put them in this poor of a room. shame on you Hawthorne suites for even having this room available.

Nice hotel close to stores and restaurants

There were no pots,pans, it anything to eat with or on. Had to ask the front desk for sheets to put on the pull out sofa. Other than that the room was nice clean and bug free. Will be staying again.
