Thanksgiving at the Kirby
Great small hotel in great location. Everything was clean and well kept. We stayed on thanksgiving night and had the hotel to ourselves. All the staff was enjoying the holiday. But the management had given us access to everything and provided great trust to let us stay there on our own! It was a great experience

i was attending a wedding in Saugatuck and the owner was nice enough to get me in a little early so that I could get ready. The house is adorable and it was all decked out for Halloween too. Looks like a great place to visit in the Summer...there was an amazing deck outside! I will have to go back!

I asked for pet friendly places in Douglas and saguatuck, the Kirby was first on the list. After a 2 1/2 hour drive and waiting for 3pm check in I’m told they are not pet friendly so after walking around the towns all morning I had to drive 2 1/2 hours back home. I’m glad my money was kindly refunded but not how I wanted to end a day.

Was not what we expected for a 4 star place. Did not get daily maid service. The stairs to the room are very steep. A good location but probably would not stay here on our next visit
