In its heyday I bet this place was excellent. It is a beach hotel with lots of guests year round so there is wear and tear. For example our sink in bathroom had cracks and had been repaired numerous times it appears and behind bathroom door there had been a hole that was repaired but was not the greatest job. I am sure maintenance does the best they can with fast turn arounds. The service was great and our room was very clean. If you are going to think you are staying at a metropolitan Marriott, book elsewhere. If you keep in mind this is a busy beachfront hotel with some wear and tear you won’t be sorry about the service or cleanliness.

Amazing time at Hollywood Beach Marriott! Staff were always friendly and accommodating especially as we were travelling with small kids. Hotel grounds were always clean, and we were in close proximity to many amenities, shops, and dining. This hotel features a good size pool that is family-friendly and has a clear view of the beach, which is just steps away!!

A/C unit made whistling noise the entire time. I asked to be fixed, they sent maintenance. But it wasn’t fixed. I was told I could move rooms but no joining rooms that we currently had. Was given good credit and told that was all they do. Along with the a/c, the Water for shower was mild not hot. Lady working the Monday Tuesday was rude and yelling at kids. Bikes were never available to use, they need to invest in more for more people wanting to use this feature. Drinks at pool are slushies not smoothies. Wasn’t impressed with this resort especially with it being a Marriott and the price.

Property was clean & well kept. Wonderful relaxing, quiet beach area and guests get very comfortable beach chairs. The pool area is average size. If you want a more lively beach are you can take a 20 minute walk to restaurants, shops right on the boardwalk.

Great stay! Room was very clean and comfortable. Loved the smoothies at the pool and the amenities at the resort. Enjoyed using the bikes and loved that the beach chairs are reserved for you so no stress on getting up early to save chairs.

Have stayed at this location many times. Steps from the beautiful Hollywood Beach and Broadwalk. The restaurant has excellent food and wonderful amenities such as free champagne, snacks and smoothies throughout the day.

The best part of this hotel is the staff. They were friendly, accommodating, kind, and helpful. We had come to the hotel from a cruise in the morning, and they actually had a room available for us right away. It was so nice to be able to relax, especially because the weather was rainy and windy, so hanging on the beach was not an option. The room was clean, and comfortable. My only complaint was the bedding. This seems to be the case with all Marriotts these days…the bedding does not fit the bed! So in the middle of night, we ended up with sheets popping off of the bottom mattress, the comforter not fully covering both of us adequately, and the top sheet pulling completely up because it wasn’t tucked in at the bottom of the bed. Like I said, this is not specific to this hotel, this seems to be Marriott’s new betting option, which I think is awful. But other than that, this hotel is terrific, we would definitely stay here again.

The property is clean, rooms are very clean and well kept and the staff is friendly. The issues are with the breakfast buffet, there isn’t many options and the quality is very poor. I’m a Marriott Bomboy member and this facility has one of the poorest breakfast buffet options I have seen in the Marriott brand. They can improve a lot in that area. Also the towels in the rooms are like sand paper, the procurement dept needs to be better at sourcing these products even more when this is a front beach property and when coming back from a day at the beach the expectation is to have a nice soft towel to dry. I rate this hotel at 3 stars compared to many of the others in the area.

Great location, right on the beach with a couple of complementary lounge chairs, and ability to rent umbrellas or cabana. Restaurant has good of food and wonderful atmosphere. Pool is small but not impossible to find chairs throughout the day, you just have to check back. Hotel is dated but it’s not horrible, it is maintained and clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful! Jorge, Roberto, Savannah and so many others that we didn’t get names. Very comfortable beds and clean rooms. Would definitely stay here again!

We were on floor 5 and attempted to sleep for 3 hours while the neighboring hotel rooms “ partied all night”. One would believe the hotel would have security walking floors sporadically. First time we were disappointed with our stay at Marriott.

I loved the snacks and champagne in the afternoon and the staff was lovely. I especially appreciated the two concierges we consulted with. Sharon was kind and helpful and the male concierge (I can’t remember his name) was also very nice and helpful. My only suggestion would be to have the staff go over the resort fee amenities when you check in. We arrived after 1am and never noticed that we could have reserved bikes each day. That would have been so fun! We really enjoyed our stay and the beach and boulevard were wonderful! Thank you.

I’ve stayed at the Hollywood Beach Marriott many times. I love the convenience of not needing a rental car. We eat breakfast at Latitudes every morning. Love being right on the broadwalk with the ocean just steps away. Enjoy the free frozen slushies and afternoon snacks. Beds are comfortable. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Always a pleasant experience.
