Conviently located for my purposes

Posted Nov 21, 2017
Pros: Location
Cons: Update and replace easy chair and carpets. Also breakfast could extend past 9:30.
Location: Close to I 95. Hotel is visible from the highway, easy to find
Nice enough, pleasant staff, Room was kept clean but needed an update. Easy chair was stained and frayed.

Hi Mike - thank you so much for your recent stay and for taking you valuable time to share your feedback - we greatly appreciate it and we're thrilled to read you enjoyed your stay! All the best in 2017 and major renovation coming for us in the very near future to address the older bedroom issues that we inherited when we recently purchased the property. Cheers!

Two long

Posted Nov 20, 2017
Got there at 10:30am and they did not have a room ready until 3:00pm, made reservations 5 month in advance and the hotel was not booked, cleaners were just walking around talking and they gave other people rooms that got there way after us

Dear Anonymous, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and we're so sorry to read we failed to meet your expectations! Having just purchased the property a little over a year ago, there is a lot of TLC that we are constantly working on each month but we're thrilled for our major refurbishment coming late this year which will improve our hotel to one of the nicest in the area while fixing all our challenges from the older bedroom products! Our location is accurately mapped out on all websites so apologies if you miscalculated our exact location to the airport. Wishing you all the best in 2017.

Basic

Posted Nov 18, 2017
Pros: It's not busy
Cons: Lots, start with maintenance
The hotel was what I expected when I walked into the lobby and I checked in fine. After I got the elevator at the floor my room was on there was a strong sent of oil or something like that. When I got to my room it was clean but the A/C was noisy. Other than that the experience was what I expected, basic and just somewhere to sleep for the night.

Pros: nothing
Cons: everything
Location: no coments
It was the worst experience I ever had on any hotel. Our room was in the corner and every minute a unit out side was working and we didn't sleep at all that night. It was dirty and sticky on the floor. shower had black mold. In morning Saturday 11/11/17 I vent downstairs around 7:00 am and explaining to the employee at the costumer service he wasn't listening to my complain. I told him why don't you care, he just looked at us and say I don't know what to say. I will never use this website or hotel anymore and I will tell everyone that I know not to use it either. Very disappointed, and very unhappy with my visit.

To start they checked us into a dirty room. Then moved us to another room that was still gross. There was holes in the wall with just a piece of wall paper over them. The handle on the bathroom door was broke. And the beds we not comfortable at all. It felt as if the box spring and base was just a hard 2 by 4!

Not a Great Experience

Posted Nov 7, 2017
Pros: Convenient location. Reasonable fee. Free airport shuttle.
Cons: Pretty much everything inside our room.
We stayed here the night before a week-long NCL cruise on Oct 28, 2017. We simply sought a clean, quiet room, but our introduction got off to a bad start when the first words from the staffer at the front desk were: "Sorry, we can't give you the Expedia rate due to an administrative problem. You will have to take it up with Expedia." PROS: Complimentary airport shuttle service. Check in efficient. Breakfast so-so. Quiet room, thanks to thick walls. Located next to hotel is a Denny's restaurant, recently remodeled and surprisingly nice inside. CONS: Yuck. Immediately after check-in, I found several droplets of dark yellow urine next to our commode, which redefines disgusting. As I do pushups for on-the-road exercise, I got a good view of our room's carpeting, which had not been vacuumed in some time. The bed was about as bad as they come in 2.5-star hotels. No blanket and no duvet cover for the communal comforter, which itself was old, lumpy and way too hot for Florida--which meant a night of tossing and turning. The bath faucet spigot was very loose. Walls were scuffed here and there. The top of the desk was badly marred. I cut my hand on a very sharp-edge piece of metal mounted to the wall--a relic from the past. Graffiti had been "carved" into the textured ceiling by several people, which lent the room a "gangsta" feel. Overall, the room was pretty beat up. So much for the positive reviews on Expedia. Maybe we got one of the worst rooms but we would never return.

decent hotel for a FLL layover

Posted Oct 28, 2017
This hotel was booked just to get some sleep on a layover at FLL airport. I was at the hotel shuttle station at 10:45 pm and when I called the hotel, the person there told me 15-20 minutes for the shuttle to arrive at the airport. After waiting 35 minutes I called back and she said it was on it's way. When the shuttle arrived after 45 minutes of waiting, the hotel name was no where in the shuttle van, it just said welcome. I didn't look very hard at the trailer behind the van, as the small logo was there... I only saw it when it was driving away from me. At this point I had been waiting for one hour, so I took a taxi to the hotel. I was very frustrated as the shuttle driver had my name and never even asked the stop. I am happy that the woman at the front desk (who I had talked to twice) apologized and refunded me my $26 taxi fare. The room was comfortable for the 4 hours I had to sleep there and the shuttle service back to the airport was easy in the morning.

Would not recommend a stay here. Right next to interstate. No proper lock on the door. Smell of weed in the lift.

Never Again

Posted Sep 24, 2017
Pros: Location was good and close to restaurants.
Cons: Cleanliness
Location: ok
The room was damp and smelled of mold, the ceiling was covered in dirty dust balls. The bathroom had mold around the tub.I went to have a shower at 5:00 am in the morning and couldn't get the shower to work. The wall coverings on the walls in the bathroom were torn and worn away. So I had to have a bird bath out of the sink, the security lock on the door was broken. Bad hotel and I will never again stay in a days inn.
