Older building, well worn but comfortable and kept

Pros: It was comfortable - lots of signs of wear, but much effort spent in up-keep. The staff were very nice in the hotel and the restaurant.
Cons: Leave it - or maintain it - as it is. It works.
Location: Go to the tourist bureau.
First trip to Homer, no knowledge or expectations. Quite liked it - in mid April the tourists weren't present, although there was every indication that it becomes a tourist town later. Despite this, lots of gravel and little apparent desire to overly beautify the town.

Hair in tub, no couch or extra place to sleep for a child so I had to upgrade to a larger room.

Apologies for the hair in tub. Will discuss with housekeeping. We offer only 1 queen rooms for sale online so there wouldn't be an extra sleeping space.

Good value

This hotel doesn't have an elevator. My room was on the lower floor, down a big flight of stairs. The key card worked the first time. But after that it demagnetized every time I tried to use it to enter my room. So I had to return to the front desk to get the strip coded. The room was nice, a bit small but well furnished and clean. It has a great location. I wished the bar & grill had been open. This is the off season. They were very good about cleaning off the parking lot after a decent snow. I would stay there again.

We have a lower parking lot that gets you to the bottom floor without having to use the stairs. However the key problem would have caused you to use the stairs. Often the cards will demagnetize if kept near a cell phone. If that was not the case, we would love to be notified so as to have maintenance fix the problem.

Simple but w/ all the necessary amenities

Pros: Pricepoint for a clean room w. a microwave and fridge.
Cons: Locking entrance door and chain or bar lock on the room door.
Location: Homer is a beach town, so there is a lot of fishing, but there are also nature trails and a great sea life center.
The room had a microwave & fridge. it was clean and the bed and pillows were comfortable. I was great for what I needed, a place to stay for 1 night. The front desk clerk was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. She went online to look up the hours for a local attraction for me.

Good hotel, bad staff

Location: Don't know about it, Inwas Verybtired ab Nd went to bed
This hotel was empty, I saw maybe 10 cars in the parking lot.l Still the checkin lady refused to give me a room in the second floor with a view, I got a room with a view on the parking lot I am very disappinted

The only thing we did not know was the restraint is closed sunday and monday
