Terrible beds and pillows, no coffee maker.

Posted Jan 19, 2017
Pros: The staff was very friendly and welcoming.
Cons: The rooms. A coffee maker and some regular pillows would be a good start.
Location: Homestead is a nice place, close to Everglades National Park.
The front desk worker was very nice, and they called to check on us after we entered the room - which is a plus. Beyond that, we have nothing positive to say. This place offers significantly fewer amenities for a higher price than nearby competitors. The bed was awful, the pillows were like coloring books stacked on top of each other - my neck was killing me the next day. The bathroom is tiny with zero counter space, and there wasn't even a coffee maker in the room. Don't book here, stay at the Garden Inn down the road. They are cheaper with much nicer rooms.

I'd stay again

Posted Nov 26, 2016 on Orbitz
Pros: We checked in early, and instead of charging us or making us wait, we were offered a choice of rooms. Owners were very pleasant.
Cons: If you are there to shower and sleep, it's great the way it is. Might update the lock on the doors. Secure but old.
Location: Race track, the Keys, the Glades, the airport, Miami, your in South Florida, what more do you want.
Our stay was great! We were there for the NASCAR race and we were less than 5 miles from the track. It's a little outdated, but you can tell the owners are trying to improve it. New box springs/mattresses.... a little stiff, but clean! The bathroom was remodeled and nice. It not luxury, but very accommodating. Safe location. If you want a place to bask at the pool, this isn't it. If you want a safe clean place to sleep and keep your stuff while you go be a race fan or tourist, this place is extremely reasonable and doable.

The staff goes against Expedia rules. The staff yelled at Expedia agent over the phone. Terrible customer service, unsafe location. Don't even think about staying here for your own good and safety.

The guest arrived to check in with a different name and credit card than what was used to make the reservation. It clearly states on Expedia "The name on the credit card used at check-in to pay for incidentals must be the primary name on the guestroom reservation." The front desk did not allow the guest to check in because of the discrepancies. For all of Deluxe Inn Motel's guests protection, the property must abide by their policies. This guest did not even stay at the Motel and should be permitted to review the property with misinformation.
