Absolutely loved this hotel & location!

Pros: Location, size of rooms, lobby restaurant & bar, ease & closeness of garage parking etc.
Cons: Loved it as it was.
Location: Just a couple blocks walk away was many restaurants & shops in the Soho district.
We had never stayed in an Aloft hotel before. My whole family of 4 loved it. We were very impressed with the lobby, the size of the rooms, the way the rooms were set-up etc. Would definitely stay again & recommend to anybody.

Refreshing place to stay

Pros: Modern, open feel.
Cons: Air conditioning in the hallway & elevator could have been better.
Location: We were visiting Samford University.
Funky place with easy parking, walking distance to restaurants, great little bar & engaging staff. Didn't have the opportunity to try the hotel restaurant. Clean rooms with nice views.

Bare Minimum

Lights over the bed did not work. Maintenance replaced the bulbs, but they stopped working. Refrigerator did not work. Ice machines only on 3rd and 5th floor. No ice machine in lobby area either. No signs to direct you to these floors for ice and no signs on these floors to direct you where on these floors to go. No directory or information book in room. Housekeeping did not replace washcloths, nor cream for coffee. Had 5 types of sugar, but only 2 creams to begin with and none were replaced. Check out employee did not ask how was the stay, but otherwise ok. Most hotels of this caliber offer a continental breakfast--not here. Very disappointed for the price.

I questioned the cleanliness of the room. The towels were jumbled on the rack, wondered if they were indeed fresh. Coffee maker still had pod from last guest.

Ok hotel. Location is the best part.

Maid service was mediocre. Rarely restocked toilet paper. Pillowcase had dried blood on it... Location is good though?
