Close to MTR station and Pacific Shopping Centre. Proximity to the Hong Kong Park. Great way to relax in the Park and Aviary.

Simply fantastic! Staff attentiveness, facilities, location and the personalised touches make this a wonderful place for a HK business or leisure traveler. Horizon club facilities are definitely worthwhile if you can stretch to afford. Pool/health centre are excellent. Location above Admiralty MTR makes connectivity very easy. Overall incredible!

Top Shelf on Hong Kong Island

Pros: Measured up to Shangri-la standards. Exellent room. Fantastic view. Very attentive staff.
Cons: The location is about a block up the hill. As a result, there are not any restuarants or stores outside the front door. One has to navigate down to the Queensway mall.
Location: Although the location is central, everything is at least a block or two walk away.

Great location and nice room. Key entry is a bit of fiddle and coffee machine with no coffee cups. Otherwise can't fault it

Great location, disappointing quality

Was provided with a room that stank with an overpowering smell of cigarette smoke although sold as non-smoking (as requested). We only noticed this on the second night as it must have been masked by the air freshener sprayed when we checked in. The ventilators of the machine provided to air out/purify the room, were filled with layers of dust (clearly visible) which just exasperated the issue. Was offered another room the next day, which we decided against as was towards the end of our stay and not worth packing and unpacking for just the last night. Clumps of dust had accumulated on the sides and bottom of furniture. All this made it seem rundown and in need of some urgent TLC and quality control. Definitely not the quality expected, based on previous experience at Shangri-La hotels and at the prices charged. The welcome Chinese tea in a ornate Chinese porcelain pot on arrival in our room was a nice touch.

Pros: Hospitality, Food, Cleanliness and desire to accommodate the requests of guest.
Cons: Check in process is too chaotic.
Location: Very nice location but expensive.
Great hotel and amenities as well as authentic restaurants especially the coffee shop.
