Great hospitality especially by the front desk staff, facilitates (eg spa and gym) and location (with direct access to the MTR station and Pacific Place). The only negative was that the room we stayed in was slightly dated.

we reserved 3 rooms for my wife and 2 friends. We bought breakfast for 2 for each room but staff insisted we only have 1 breakfast for each room. The staff didn't realize the mistake and also the way the staff handled it was terrible. This was an excellent hotel but now it changed our view. We don't like it.

Amazing stay
Absolutely amazing stay there, we boiked for 3 nights and ended up adding another 2 nights which was relatively easy. Will be stayinh here again when we are in hong kong next time.

The property was super clean. The staff were very polite and helpful. Super location. Could improve on a music system isn't he room and a better tv. But overall great hotel with hardly any negatives.

Good but not outstanding
Bed very comfortable, bathroom rather dated and worn. Restaurants and bar are of highest standard with prices to match. Only lounge is lobby lounge which is very small so usually full. No other lounge that we could find just for residents which was a shortcoming.

While it might be shangri la's corporate initiative to promote sustainability by potentially minimizing plastic waste, basic personal care amenities like combs and razor should always be provided in room for guests convenience.

Excellent stay
An excellent stay, we were looking for a high end hotel that embraced its location (as we have been since we arrived in Hong Kong) and the Island Shangri-La did this far better than the Mandarin Oriental where we stayed last year. Two quibbles, the low lights that come on when you get out of bed in the night are hyper-sensitive and tend to turn themselves on frequently (or maybe I flail around too much), secondly being dropped off at the Pacific Place Office Towers there is little signposting to get to reception, other than that it was great.

Great stay for my wife’s birthday. The staff were friendly and also ensured we had use of the pool on our designated time slot. The room and bathroom was spacious with little extras like bowl or fruit; bath salts and hand sanitisers. Would definitely come again!
