Convenient area in Wanchai. A few minutes walk from the station. Room was quite big. Good for 2 people. Bed was comfortable, toilet was clean and spacious. We had a problem with the key card access for lift and room a few times. But the counter staff managed to resolve it quickly.

I stayed in a room with a tap that when u turned on the faucet, the water comes splashing down, making it impossible to wash anything without wetting the front of your body; it was also from a very high point, exacerbating the splashing I fed this back to the staff the next morning, not wanting to be disturbing people when the hotel is at bare skeletal staff at night, but was told that all the rooms of that type were like that When I checked out of that room (thankfully I did not book a whole stretch, precisely because I thought staff may be unwilling to entertain requests and attempt to gloss over what constitutes basic customer ease of mind), and checked into another room, fortunately the tap was ok, in a Family Suite I actually did move again and thankfully, the tap was OK too I am a loyal Expedia customer and hope others will not suffer

Very old hotel. Very smelly and humid. The interior looks dusty( it is clean but looks like thousand years old) Cannot tolerate such conditions even though the room is spacious.

Positives, Location is very convenient. We especially booked Exec spacious room that has a bath as we were traveling with a toddler. Aircon worked well. Room was well sound proofed, a must for HK. House keeping lady was very accommodating. Negatives, traveling with a stroller/buggy, beware that lobby has 2 sets of steps to get to lifts. They become quite tiresome. Rooms were tired and dusty. Gold members that are expecting member perks such as free room upgrade, inclusive drink, continental breakfast - don't bother. When we enquired, we were told that we already had a room upgrade to an Exec spacious room, even though that is what we booked, the inclusive drinks for gold members were part of the mini bar, even though the mini bar was a part of the booking and not a gold member perk. The inclusive continental breakfast was not part of the booking even though we showed them a screenshot from the hotel.com site when we booked. This was one of the main reasons for staying here as our little boy may eat breakfast. I contacted hotels.com who were quick to respond but got fobbed off by the hotel too.

Stayed earlier in October was fine, this last stay was opposite. Ridiculous request to show passport etc all over again to get room keys after already going through that process. Asked to speak to manager, to which some lady at front desk pretended she was. Finally someone with common sense gave keys, to go up to wrong room type. Was really a comedy of errors…VIP access was said for all 3 rooms booked, of which nothing was supplied. Possibly would stay again but with plenty of other options in area wouldn’t be first choice anymore.

Stayed 4 nights here and would describe it as very average. Rooms quite small and could do with a revamp and nothing really by way of amenities. The area is also ok but I would recommend others to stay in either the Central district or Kowloon, not a lot near this hotel.

My family and I enjoyed staying at Kew Green as the staff were very friendly and patient and there were many delicious dining places nearby. It was near to many bus stations and MRT stations nearby as well. Even though the room was quite dirty as we found a used slipper under the bed and the lobby was smelly, the housekeepers were amazing as they cleaned up the room even with a flood. We had a pleasant stay at Kew Green. The staff was very professional and friendly. I'd like to commend Timothy at the front desk and the lady (didn't catch her name) responsible for our floor. Our rooms in the SHE floor were spacious by HK standards although the design palette was "unusual". The gym was small but clean. The hotel is a short walk to the Wanchai MTR and is surrounded by restaurants, bars and groceries.
