Excellent Hotel

Pros: Location, service, cleanliness, comfort, large room, view of Hong Kong Bay.
Cons: Cannot think of any.
Location: Excellent location near subway and shopping. I took hotel bus from airport, extremely comfortable, timely with drop off in front of hotel.
Classic hotel excellent location and service. Really nice break after one week business trip in India. Subway right outside hotel. Able to walk and explore area through underground subway exits right outside hotel. One of the nicest service I have experienced around the world. Would definitely stay again.

Enjoyable stay

Pros: Near to MTR
Cons: Provide room for guests to freshen up for about an hour for their trip back home after checking out of hotel instead of using the gym facilities
After sooo many years since 2006, many changes since the last trip. Stayed in Hotel which is near to MTR and shopping centres. Very enjoyable stay. Will be going again sometime in March 2018 and staying at the same hotel. Hopefully they will take into consideration of providing a room to use for about an hour to freshen up before flight home

Great location, convenient to a lively area of HK

Pros: Looks first class from the entry lobby to the rooms and bar/lounge.
Cons: Better musicians-bar area, a lot of others like us came to relax after dinner with a few drinks and listen to the band, but the band level wasn't good
Location: Many nice restaurants to the left of the hotel and behind. Great atmosphere.
We've stayed at this hotel 3 times over the past two years, also tried the Regal and Intercontinental. The Shangri La is best overall in my mind: Nicer decor, cleaner, open-plan bar area with live music every evening. (Intercontinental's bar feels cramped and small in comparison). We'll definitely continue to stay here on our future visits.

Perfect view and location

Pros: The location and the view
Cons: Not that I know of now.
Location: Dozens.. MTR is just 5 mins walk away
Greeted by a welcoming front desk and impressive lobby. Was offered for an upgrade to harbour view (though at a cost). I am actually pleased that the staff did make that suggestion! The view from my room was just stunning! Room is clean and spacious, have everything I need and I got served with fruits and pot of tea. ;) MTR is just 5 mins walk away

Excellent people! Great location.

Pros: Excellent staff and a great location for "getting about"!
Cons: Not from us!
We arrived late (after a 12 hour flight delay) and everyone was helpful and quick to get us checked in and well looked after.

Convenient location and very spacious

Pros: Location and size of the room.
Cons: None. Perfect to stay in Hong Kong.
Location: Shopping and eating. There is iSquare shopping center, and they have all kinds of food you can enjoy, Japanese, Korean and Chinese food, coffee shop.
It was surprisingly spacious room with large king bed & sofa with garden view. There are rooms with ocean view and it would be nice if we stay there. Large window with view of shopping area and small garden. A lot of light coming through window and very comfortable room. A lot of mirrors throughout room and bathroom, but the lighting is good so you don't mind having them. Free water bottles filled everyday and there was a hot water boiler so we made our own tea every day. It's walking distance to all sorts of restaurants, shopping, which is a must to stay in Hong Kong (Kawloon). We walked nearby beach and parks as well as we completed all shopping in the area. Though there were nice restaurants inside the hotel, which we tried once, you can walk down to have a typical Hong Kong style breakfast at very reasonable price and come back to room to have an additional tea time before going out. There is a large department store right next to it and you can make a custom made shirts delivered to the hotel in one day. Convenient for your friend to pick you up by car. Taxi is always available in front of hotel.

Reserved and paid but no room when check in

I booked a room for my dad on 22/03/17, but when he reached the hotel at 3pm, there was no available room. He was then told by the staff that the hotel was full for the type of room that was booked. I paid the full sum thru Expedia but in the end the staff of the hotel said that booked thru other website other than the Hotel itself is not guaranteed. He was then told to pay an extra S$300++ to upgrade to a better room in order to get a room immediately. We are very disappointed with the service.

From the two staff waiting at the airport to take care of our large luggage to the waiting car ,on arrival at the hotel two more staff waiting at the door to check us in at our rooms not at the desk as we arrived late from Sydney ,all effortless for us then jasmine tea delivered . Finest smiling service from airport to our beautiful refurbished rooms with white Carrara marble . Impossible to beat ,smiling service with total comfort .
