Great visit in Hong Kong, really enjoyed the location of Shangri La and their friendly staff!

Nice hotel

Very convenient location. Train station is a few steps away. Staff is very helpful, food at Cafe Kool is ok, not as good as I expect. Overall, anot excellent hotel.

Great hotel and location.

Pros: Facilities, location and calibre of staff. Definitely upgrade to a harbour view well worth the additional cost.
Greeted by a friendly member of staff - Margaret- who took us to the room and provided check in there, nothing was too much trouble. Provided excellent information on facilities and what was available during Chinese New Year, a nice touch was Prosecco , dessert and fruit in the room as a thank you for choosing the hotel. This is the second time staying at the Shangri-la and will definitely stay again.

Great room. Very quiet.

We were very well received. Quiet room. We felt like we were the only ones in the hotel. Convenient location. Very professional staff. Food in the restaurants was great- to include Chinese selections. They also pay close attention to multi ethnic, religious, and medical requirements. Common allergens were listed in menus. Great experience.

Excellent hotel

Location: Walking distance to the ferry. Good restaurants and shops nearby.
Excellent hotel in Hong Kong. Everything as expected of a luxury hotel. Great breakfast. Nice staff. Gym is a bit crowded but they have good machines and in good condition.

Memorable Stay !

Pros: Everything, it was all we expected and more !
Cons: Nothing
Location: Location is fine taxis fares are cheap to get around and good shopping in the area.
We had one night in Hong Kong and stayed at the Shangri- La and it was an experience to remember, the service was impecable the room and view of the harbour stunning and the staff were friendly, welcoming and very helpful. It was approaching Christmas and the foyer and lobby were decorated and the atmosphere was festive. We will return.

Convenient to everything in Hong Kong area

Pros: Beautifully decorated with very comfortable rooms.
Cons: The indoor swimming pool is way too small and the hot tub in the health club could be larger.
Location: Walking along the water, nice restaurants and shopping.
Very convenient location close to many nice restaurants and shops. An easy walk to the Star Ferry for getting over to Hong Kong Island.

Amazing hotel

Superb hotel, so close to all amenities. So clean and very friendly. Upgrade to the horizon club, as you won't be disappointed. Brilliant breakfast looking over to Hong Kong island, evening cocktails and more, plus they give you a handy little portable Wifi device, brilliant when you're out and about, so quick too. We love staying here.

Best 5 Star Experience, View, & Service in Kowloon

If you are going to stay here, it is worth every penny to stay on the Horizon Club level in a harbor view room. From the moment you walk in to the hotel you are surrounded with friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. The experience at the Horizon club is leaps and bounds above any US 5-star hotel brand executive lounge. From the breakfast to afternoon tea, followed by cocktail hour in the evening, the club lounge offers spectacular views of Victoria Harbor while you enjoy exquisitely prepared dishes by the hotel's talented chefs. This hotel is the model of what a 5-star experience should be.

Great hotel in TST East

Pros: Very efficient staff
Cons: Rooms could do with a make over but i wouldn't let that put anyone off..
Location: Location is on Mody road TST East and easy to get to shops etc.
As a business we've usually stayed at either the Royal Garden or the Icon Exec rooms in TST East but with a tight budget we decided to go for none Exec rooms & also a change of hotel. We made the right decision with the Shangri-La. It's great hotel & the staff are so efficient & friendly. The facilities are very good & the Tapas bar was so good we didn't really miss the Exec room privileges. Location wise it's very good & only a 15 min walk to the Star ferry or the Harbour shopping centre on Canton road.
