In the airport

Posted Jan 17, 2017
Sevice was slow at check in however that seems a trend in china. We stayed in 4 different hotels all the beds are too hard. By the time we got to this one we were tired of complaining. The dinner buffet is pricey but adequate. The buffet was centered around seafood and I'm rather fond of sea food. The best thing about this hotel is that it's part of the Airport complex, and it's easy to wheel your baggage and your self over to the terminal to catch your flight.

Great Stay for Layover

Awesome hotel with 2 minute walk to airport. I will say if you want to be close to downtown and other sights of interest you will have to pay Hong Kong Dollar to taxi drivers. They do not accept credit cards in Hong Kong.

Very convenient location after a long flight.

Posted Jan 15, 2017
Pros: Convenience and facilities. Excellent staff. We had an issue with our safe and we had an engineer in our room within 30 minutes to fix it.
Cons: Water conservation in the bathroom! The shower was like Niagara Falls.
Location: We traveled to Kowloon via bus and also to the chair lift for the Giant Buddha. The Airport Express is excellent but a little more expensive.
We stayed here during our entire six day visit as it was easy to get to Hong Kong island by train and to Kowloon via bus. We were also able to get to China for a business visit very easily. The hotel facilities are excellent. Or room was a little dated but had everything you might expect from a 4 star hotel. The staff were very helpful and having the airport a short walk through a covered passage was fantastic. This allowed us to easily get an Octopus card, change money and have things like a 7/11 to buy snack and sandwiches. There's an excellent outdoor pool and heated indoor pool, saunas etc.

Excellent location for transient travelers. Slightly outdated, but clean. We will stay here again.

Great airport hotel!

Great airport hotel in the vicinity of the HK airport. Only problem was that you could not buy kids swimming clothes anywhere as ours was in a checked-in baggage, which meant kids were disappointed.

Perfect for stop overs

Posted Jan 8, 2017
Feels like a good 4 star as opposed to an airport convenience. We stayed on the club level, the quality and finish is provided to a good standard. Perfect if travelling with kids and you have a stop over. Takes a good +30mins to get to Kowloon at a taxi fare of c.$250 HKD each way (as December 2016) - so this is a fair way away but not too bad. There's a decent bar and restaurant if you don't want to travel out. The staff were excellent, and genuinely caring. Overall we were very happy with the choice to stay at the Regal.

Excellent hotel a few minutes walk from airport

Posted Jan 6, 2017
Pros: The room, the staff, the dining
Cons: More movies
Location: A great location for transit
I am enjoying my stay at the Regal Airport very much, and have extended my stay due to a flight cancellation. The room is superb with every convenience. The staff are helpful and efficient and friendly. The dining is superb in the restaurants and through room service.

Convenient and comfortable Airport Hotel

Posted Jan 4, 2017
Pros: Location
After arriving from EWR after a 16 hour flight, we wanted to be in a location close to the airport (for our flights the next day). However, we wanted to be in a clean and comfortable place - something reasonably priced and this hotel did not disappoint. This hotel is easily accessible post clearing immigration in Terminal 1. It is a 5-7 minute walk via clearly marked hallway connecting the airport directly to the hotel. The check-in was effortless and quick. We were given our keys and quickly reached our room. The hotel's lobby is pretty massive and has multiple lounges and restaurants in plain sight. Our room was of decent size (not big - but nothing to complain about) and was clean and comfortable. The room had good basic amenities, but the thing that I found the weirdest was the blue colored water in the commode (had never seen than in a hotel). Our check-out process was pretty effortless as well and the staff was very helpful in giving us directions to our airline counters.
