The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. The location is perfect if you have work in Wan Chai; just a few blocks from the Wan Chai MTR and within walking distance to the Hong Kong Academy for the Performing Arts. I think the best part was the local smart phone that was part of the hotel ...
Stayed here on an off for most of December. Easy 5 minute walk from A12 bus stop Airport Express. Rooms clean, staff nice and some sort of YMCA link with the hotel means there was a 'kind personality' approach - not corporate. The hotel is opposite a clean public park which can be accessed by an ...
Right next to MTR station and has indoor assess to mall and MTR station. Ocean view is super nice, staff are super friendly and helpful. Rain shower in room is awesome! I had a wonderful experience while staying there!
Best location to be right in the midst of good restaurants, fruit markets, tea stalls,.... Mid-level walkways right at the hotel’s doorstep, connecting to IFC, Queen St, MTR. Shower stall in room is big for a boutique hotel and Good water pressure. It’s a boutique hotel so it has no facilities.
On arrival very disappointed with the room booked for 3 and with the extra bed the room was full couldn’t even walk round the bed. Complained and was left with no option but to up grade at a cost of an extra 550 HK. Couldn’t fault this new room very comfortable and spacious From then on a good overall ...
Overall the hotel is Excellency. Not a lot to see around the hotel but easy access tyo MTR station. Only real negative is a very high daily deposit is required at checkin. I've stayed in hotels all over the world and this is by far the highest deposit I have ever been required to make on my credit ...
The staff didn't acknowledge us upon arriving. I was charged for the room even after I told the staff member that I had already paid for it through Expedia. The room was cozy and the location was convenient. The bellmen were the most helpful, friendly and amazing.
Good value for money. Upgrade to Club was definitely worth it and saved us lots of incidental spending. Shame hotel didn’t tell us about significant construction work happening at front of hotel. Noise started at 6:30. This is why Club upgrade is a must as you get a higher floor (away from noise!). ...
Amazing location - close to central station MTR. Walking distance to cafes and restaurants and an M&S if you want to buy your own food and eat in the room. The room itself was spacious and modern with loads of room for two people not to trip over each other. Having no minibar it means that the fridge ...
I have stayed in the Pottinger several times. The standards have been consistently high and the staff consistently helpful. A thoughtful "extra" is the offering of a free mobile telephone throughout your stay.
Disappointed with breakfast. I was told breakfast started at 6:00am. I had an early start so paid for breakfast only to find out restaurant doors opened at 6:00am but no food out until 6:40am. Was told to have coffee while I waited. Had to scoff breakfast and run.
It's easy to go everywhere. The metro near hotel just 0nly 2-3minutes near the airport bus. But the thing that made me disappoint is the view from the room. I see only the building is constructing. You can not see view habour any more. Staff is friendly. Breakfast is very good .
Small rooms but recently refurbished, clean, perfect location in the center of Wan Chai, strong wifi. Wifi limited to a certain number of devices (like many hotels are implementing) but front desk clear gave additional logins at no extra cost. Recommended hotel for a business trip to Hong Kong
Great little hotel. Good location. New, very clean, small suite, king size bed. Very pleasant, helpful staff. One entire wall is windows with see through blinds allowing in lots of light, too much for sleeping. Needs black out curtains or blinds.
