When you book directly through the hotel, the TLA exemptions are processed as you stated. However, it appears you booked through a third party company. There are process we must take in order to approve any TLA exemptions and unfortunately, Hotels.com or any third party bookings are not part of this program. I understand your feedback on parking fees. Due to the limited number of stalls and the number of guest vehicles we need to accommodate, the hotel offers valet service to ensure all guests can be accommodated. The parking fee is similar to other hotels and parking structures due to the high demand for parking in Waikiki. Free parking is very limited in Waikiki, and come with restrictions and no parking times. Please accept my sincere apologies for the issues you faced and thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We will continue to strive to make a positive impact on our guests' experience.
