Run down, noisy doors, AC broken

I loved the staff. They were the best part of my trip. The room itself was very outdated. The bathroom shower head was extremely clogged. It had a lot of calcium and lime build up. The carpet was disgusting. The bed although it was clean, it was very uncomfortable. I'm not expecting a tempurapedic mattress, but perhaps something other than a lumpy mattress. The AC sounded like it was on its last leg and it couldn't get the room cooled down. The doors were really noisy. I could hear ever door open or close on my floor. I woke up from sleep each time someone would leave their room.

Shuttle was unreliable

The hotel was good. It was a bit loud on the street outside. The staff was very good! The Waikiki shuttle was very frustrating. We found the website to be inaccurate and unreliable and it would all of a sudden change courses and times. We missed one because we were In the wrong place at the hotel, resulting in a 30 minute walk home.

just an overnight stop this time. check-in was ok.

Pros: everything except hotel demand for deposit.
Cons: do not ask for deposit that is released after seven days.
Location: no comment
not long enough stay to rate. no other comments. Hotel demands a deposit on room although fully paid by credit card. Expedia booking was charged as well as a separate booking.

Very Disappointed

The only complaint we had was that our final bill showed an unexpected charges for the room in the amount of $20.00 increase per day. We questioned Pagoda and was told that they didn't handle that and to go back to whomever we had booked it with. If there was going to be an increase, why weren't we told of this. We could have looked for another cheaper hotel. Is this how you guys make money?
