Everything was good. We moved the table closer to the bed and there was alot of dirt and stuff under it but besides that everything was fine. I’d stay again. Only recommendation is maybe have Netflix or something on the tvs

Nice ambiance (rustic/deer camp) and a decent breakfast. Didn't serve meats (sausage/bacon) every day. WiFi was very spotty, which was quite inconvenient. No towel bar in the bathroom, which meant we had to get fresh towels from the desk everyday (who likes using cold, wet towels a second day?) The Illinois river is quite close which is very nice if you like a good view and the smell of dead carp. The bar was pleasant, but closed at 8:00 during the week. Housekeeping is available every three days, if you request it from the front desk. Not a huge problem, except for the towel issues. We pick up after ourselves at home and I take out the trash so I guess you could say this imparted a 'homey' feel to the stay. All in all, it was far better than the place we originally booked (you might want to review my review on the Best Western Plus in E. Peoria, IL before you book....) I guess I would have to say it was nice for an overnight stay, but overpriced for anything else.

Overall, newer hotel with a decent on-site restaurant and a great fitness area. One suggestion would be to add USB and USB-C outlets for recharging devices.

I reserved a room with 2 queen beds for 3 adults and a child. Checked in after 10 pm and had to wait a long time at the front desk for our key. Upon getting to the room only to find it had 1 king bed. Returned to front desk and waited in another long line only to find out they were sold out and that was the last room. Single person at front desk had to keep leaving to find a second staff person to help. They said it was my fault for reserving online as you can only get accurate information about availability by reserving directly with the hotel. Staff was slow, unprofessional and unable to provide refund or receipt for error. In addition, the off site parking garage ($10 day) one block away had an inoperable elevator so an adult in our party with mobility issues had to climb 3 flights of stairs.
