Perfect location for a Belize vacationPosted Apr 22, 2017
From the moment we arrived until the time we left the staff made sure we had a great stay. The resort is just beautiful, the rooms are comfortable and spacious and the food and amenities were exactly what we wanted. The views are not to be missed and the staff will help you plan all the best Belize activities. Highly recommend Jaguar Reef!

I can't wait to go back!Posted Apr 13, 2017
We had an absolutely amazing time. The water was literally 100 feet from the front door of our beautiful bungalow, which was basically perfect. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming, as well as the fellow guests. Charlie's bar was definitely the place to get to know everyone while sipping on a refreshing drink served out of a fresh coconut that you just sucked all the water out of! Again... the staff was so amazing! The food at the restaurant was delicious but I urge you to also walk across the street to the chicken shack... as well as venturing down to the various other family run restaurants. We did not have a meal we did not like. It was a pleasure to experience the town and the culture. We loved Belize so much and hope to return to this magical place as soon as possible! Thank y'all!!

Pros: Swim up infinity bar was amazing and staff very friendly. Beds were comfortable, rooms were decorated nice and clean.
Location: Lots to do: shopping, restaurants and local bars, excursion opportunities, private tours to ruins and cave exploration, etc.
The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful, and the resort was very beautiful and comfortable.

Great location and Ocean ExperiencePosted Mar 18, 2017
Pros: Location, convenience of pool, restaurant and the cleanliness of the beach and cabanas.
Location: The location was great. If you were interested in activities, guides or tours, everything was there.
The Jaguar Reef was a pleasant experience as cabanas had a great ocean view and pretty much everything you need. The Cabana I stayed in was very handy to the restaurant, but also very noisy and was a major route of other guests. Staff was friendly and helpful, BUT almost over friendly at times. Overall the staff was great and helpful. The restaurant was very nice, but expensive. We had a variety of meals, all were better than average. The price in the end was worth it because of the convenience, setting and quality. Overall it would be hard to not give the Jaguar Reef a 4.5 rating.

Needs to be updatedPosted Mar 16, 2017
Staff could use customer service training. Very limited menu and wine selections. Right on the beach! Although there is weeds growing in the sea just off the beach. It was not recommended to walk to town after dark and it's a $10.00 usd cab ride ( if you can find one) for the 2 miles from the resort to town.

Amazing Place!Posted Mar 4, 2017
Cons: Could use some signs pointing in the right direction upon entering the town of Hopkins.
Location: Couple kms out of town. Great beach. Best to rent a bike or golf cart if planning to go to town every day Lots of restaurants nearby.
What a wonderful place to stay! Although its a little difficult to find due to a lack of signage, once we found the place it was gorgeous! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful which is certainly not always the case in Belize. Upon entering we were greeted with welcome drinks while the paperwork and room was sorted out (we arrived very early). The room was dated but beautifully done with high quality bedding and mattress. Yet another luxury not often found in the country. The beach and ocean were perfect and set up with hammocks and free use of kayaks and paddle boards. We stayed only 2 nights but my husband and I both wished we had spent a week here.

This is a fantastic hotel for families.Posted Mar 1, 2017
Pros: Staff, staff and staff. Accommodations and environment were beautiful and relaxing, food was incredible.
Location: Chocolate factory, snorkeling, boat trips, mayan ruins.
The staff were incredible, so friendly, and would bend over backwards to do anything to make our vacation perfect. That was down to every last staff member, no exception. Our kids were so sad to leave and want to keep in contact with several of the staff who voluntarily entertained them during our stay. The trips were also extremely well organized, highly educational and fun, and really well organized. We are a very well travelled family, and have stayed in some of the top hotels in the world, but I would put this as one of our best if not the best family experience on a vacation by far. Many, many thanks to the hotel staff for making it a well needed break spent with our family.
just okayPosted Feb 16, 2017 on Hotels
Road to resort is terrible. Also, staff is polite but not that helpful with last minute requests for help. I would not stay there again.
