"We loved everything about this house! The suites are great, kitchen is well stocked, plenty of room for our family vacation. We also loved the location, we took day trips to Galena and Dyersville. We enjoyed outdoor games in the yard, went to the golf/mini-golf course, as well as other attractions in Dubuque. We appreciate the owners attention to details and the pristine condition of the home. The best VRBO house we have stayed in. "
"My teen daughters and I like to visit Dubuque a couple times of year for the change of scenery from the quad cities. We started back when they loved the waterpark- now we just go To shop and enjoy a meal. This inn provides everything we need including a small indoor pool to entertain us and keep us overnight. "

"What a great time! Our family enjoyed all the amenities that the property offered; foosball showdowns at least twice daily, music with a great ambience of the screened in porch, fire pit, grilling, coffee on the deck near the river, fishing nearby, friendly neighbor ducks and dogs. The cabins were easily accessible and very clean. Alex made sure we had everything we needed without even having to ask. And he made it known to reach out if we needed anything and was very quick at responding to messages. Would love to come back again very soon, and would recommend to a family looking to get away or for a person, a couple, or friends trip to get some peace."

"The house had everything it described, was very spacious and clean. The major downside was NO Wi-Fi that was a surprise ad never said it had it but in 2025 I guess you just automatically assumed it would have it. We did have a situation with a wasp infestation but I contacted the owner and she had someone out within literally 20 minutes to take care of it. We then had to call her again because the air conditioning went out and again she had her son in law come out immediately, unfortunately he couldn’t fix it however she was able to get a HVAC person out to the property but he couldn’t come immediately, it was really hot so we did have to stay at my cousins house but she was on top of it, when he did come out he fixed it and we were good to go! This house was wonderful and other than the few hiccups that she was right on top of, except for the no Wi-Fi it was phenomenal!! "
"John is a great host. He answers all questions and gives information about not only the home itself but also he let us know that there would be road construction when we were there. It was very helpful to be aware of ahead of time.The house and property was just as he described it. We enjoyed the land around the house especially the big fenced in yard for our dog who had plenty of space to run outdoors. We were pleased to see so many deer on the far side of the property each morning as well. It felt like we were away from city life but there were still stores, restaurants, etc. just a short drive down the street.The hiking/biking path was within walking distance which made for a convenient place to explore both on foot and on bikes.It is close to Cedar Rapids so there was a variety of things to do and places to see as well."
