Great stay in Bergen.
We stayed here for three nights during our stay in Bergen. Great hotel and great location near the town center and the docks where the fjord cruises depart. The breakfast was amazing. We are five people traveling together and they had a room for all of us. They even had a washer/dryer to do laundry. Would stay here again.

So-so
You had to walk to another hotel to check in, there was no staff available except at meal times and it was loud and hard to sleep. The rooms were hot!

Typical Euro hotel. No a/c. So had to open the windows at night because the front desk coukd not turn off the centrally controlled heat. People partying all night in the streets. Got no sleep Very disappointed.

Hotel Hordaheimen
Used to be a Best Western but that standard is gone. Hotels.com lists this hotel with 24/7 reception and having a business center. Not true. We had to to check in / checkout at Hotel Augustin, which is a block away. Not good. If I had known the truth, I would not have stayed there. It was a dark desolate hotel at night with no onsite security. They offered a refund some charges but they have not shown yet.

The hotel actually close for renovation but I was put in the next door hotel, Augustin which apparently their sister's hotel. It was good for an overnight stop.

Great hotel! Easy and quick check in, Great WiFi . Never had a better breakfast for choice, bacon, egg, sausage, smoked salmon, salmon, mackerel, crayfish, cheese, ham, fruit, vegetables, bread, crackers, pastries. Great clean room. Hotel in good location.

I loved the private corner balcony and the hair dryer! Mine wouldn’t work even with an electrical converter. The breakfast provided was quite good with a large variety.

Hotel location is quite handy to the centre of the city as well as reasonably close to the Hurtigruten terminal, a 15 minute but over a hill.

This hotel was fantastic in every way. It was near to the action but at the same time nice and quiet. Great food and friendly helpful staff and our room was perfect with a very comfortable bed. I would without hesitation stay here again and highly rate it for others. You also did free coffee all day which was such a welcome relief after our busy activities - thank you for a lovely break.

Very good
The room is pretty small and leaves little room for manoeuvre if you have large suitcases, otherwise it is very good for a short stay. The breakfast offers a variety of hot food and cold cuts. If you are travelling light, you can walk from the hotel to the cruise and Hurtigruten terminals and save a taxi ride.

There’s hardly any service offered by hotel except breakfast which too was absolutely basic. Rooms were very warm and there was no ventilation.

The room was great. It was small but for a single person it was perfect! It was perfect walking distance from many places to visit. It was also very quiet which after a long day of sightseeing, is very nice. The breakfast was good too! A lot of selection to pick from. I would definitely stay here again!

Great buffet breakfast, well appointed rooms and good location. The hotel is 5 mins walk to the fishmarket area. Clean and cosy. The only area for improvement is that the staff were always very grumpy.

Very reasonable city hotel
Clean and comfortable hotel in very good location. Only slight issue with the fact that room phone never worked. We reported fault and no-one did anything about it nor came back to us on it at all. Phone still not working when we left.
