This is a nice hotel. Room was clean and neat. Bed was comfortable. I'd stay there again. Well worth the price we paid. Nice dining room, good hot breakfast. It has the steepest driveway of any hotel I've ever used, like a ski jump. You wouldn't want to stay there when it snowed overnight. You might be be trapped. Good Mexican restaurant next door. Internet speed was barely adequate. They have two internet options, one open, where you wouldn't want to use your credit card, and another named 1Baymont with password security. They didn't mention the secure 1Baymont connection until I asked. Both were very slow when used in the room on fourth floor, but worked better when I took my laptop to the dining room.

Very good location, easy access to everything and on beautiful Lake Hamilton. Staff was very nice and helpful. It was quiet, had everything we needed in the room. Breakfast was nice. Really the only negative thing is the bathroom was a bit old and run down. Needs some updating. Tp and kleenex need an upgrade...soooo thin and rough. The room was very clean and neat. Beds were comfortable. Overall a nice place that I would stay at again.

The room was fine. The bed was soft and comfortable. There was smell every time we opened the door but once in the room you couldn't smell it, it was just at the door opening. Other than that the room and facilities were fine.

At the time we were there (April 2024), the restaurant was closed. The previous operator had pulled out and a new one hadn’t taken over yet. But it was a great place to watch the eclipse from. The hotel had plenty of glasses for people. We set up camp at one of the tables on the pool deck, others set up lawn chairs. It was quite the party.

It seemed like they are part ways through a redo. There was an issue with the alcohol permit, so the restaurant was closed. The breakfast was ok but not great. The coffee was not very good. I understand the rooms were so expensive because we were there during the eclipse but I still don't think it was worth the price we paid.

We were hoping to get a room with a view of the lake but nope, we got a view of the parking lot instead. The lobby and breakfast area were remodeled nicely, but the rest of the hotel - not so much. It was okay overall. Comfortable beds. Nothing really to complain about except the price. Too much for this hotel

**Expedia requested I remove all dollar amounts hence the _ _ _. Expedia did not warn of a _ _ _ damage fee deposit. As we all know the deposits get charged to your debit card immediately and not refunded for 3-4 days. The Baymont charged a deposit of DOUBLE WHAT THEY QUOTED at checkin. INSTEAD of the _ _ _….…upon asking staff the next morning about the DOUBLED charge to my card for the deposit. she told me “we only charged quoted amount, we have no say over how your financial institution charges you”. WTH?!?! SOMEHOW the Baymont charged my debit card DOUBLE, it does not charge itself, does it?!?!? Oh well, we shall not stay at another Baymont.

I had high hopes for this hotel because it was in a nice area but that was the only thing nice about it. Our tub/shower was dirty. The restrooms in the lobby were out of order along with other places in the hotel. I had chose this hotel because they were supposed to have a laundry room available, they did not. It was supposed to be smoke free, it was not. It was a terrible experience all around.

The staff were very friendly. The room looked nice but when I went to the vanity sink area the mirror had spit on it from the last people who stayed in the room. The staff had not cleaned the mirror is was obvious and quite disgusting that I had to clean the mirror. The refrigerator went out and they did replace it immediately. They also charged a $100 damage deposit which I have never even heard of before. They did refund it afterwards but that gave me a negative feeling to hear why they were taking a damage deposits. The breakfast was good. We did enjoy our stay.

The front desk clerks were very unaccommodating. We asked to split our bill and were told no. Our shower was broken and they refused to give us another room. We were not told about breakfast although others were. No one ever came to clean the room or take out the garbage. I don't think I would ever stay there again.

We stayed on the Lake Hamilton side and enjoyed the view of the lake from the balcony. Staff was friendly and helpful. We were there for 3 nights. Had to move rooms last night because the air conditioner was extremely loud. Staff was very accommodating. Breakfast was the same each day. We opted to eat out the last morning as it wasn’t great. Some cosmetic updates needed to be done in first room. I would stay there again for the view, convenience to shopping and dining, and staff.

The room was nice and clean. Very good shower and comfortable bed. Ice machine on our floor did not work. The breakfast on the first two days was good, but it went downhill the last two days. Juice machine was broken so they put out orange juice and water first two days but none the last two days. Overall the stay was good and I would stay there again.

The facility itself was beautiful and i loved the relaxed seating out back. But the room was kinda cramped. We had 2 staying in the room and there was a desk with a chair. A small round table with 2 chairs would have been better. No seating except bed. The toilet paper was so so thin. And we barely even had any if that in our room. We had to go ask for more. The toilet paper was actually difficult to use and feel clean. Morning of day two i asked the front desk to send someone to get my dirty towels and bring some clean ones and no one did. There was prior tenants drinking straws on the floor by the bed the day we arrived. The pancake maker at breakfast does not work properly. It made pancakes the size of a silver dollar and constantly having to mess with machine just to get that. The juice machine was out of order both days with no alternative option.

The only thing I don't like is that when you check in and they give you the room, the next day they don't change your bed and you have to go to the lobby to get towels and toilet paper or bath soap. I didn't like that for what they charge, it's not good service.
